Everyone loves to hate on someone who was taken first its like all Ginn haters are the kids in gym class who got picked last and saw the fast athletic kid get picked first like Ginn and just choose to hate him because of a number he was taken....he didnt make the coaching staff pick him he didnt force them to draft him #9 thats the coaches and draft personal so, and most of that personal is gone now so it shouldnt matter

either way the guy catches 11 for 108 yards but more important than stats he caught i think 5 or 6 balls for first downs all key first downs to keep the ball outa mannings hands and keep the drives going

The first ball in the back of the endzone was absolutely not Ginn's fault he is a smaller lanky receiver and people say that andre johnson would have made that catch well thats andre johnson who is a completely different player than Ginn...pennington over threw him mr.accurate over threw him because if u watch ginn was trying to slow down and make sure his feet would have stayed in bounds when the ball hit his hands, but his speed and momentum were carrying him out and if he had lifted off the ground and extended his arms for that ball there is no way his momentum doesnt carry him outa bounds without getting his feet down or with his arms extended that the ground doesnt knock the ball out of his hands anyways, basically the one time pennington can over throw ginn

The 2nd one in the endzone he got 2 hands on he probably should have caught he did get his arm knocked and shoulder pulled while trying to pull it in but either way i do believe he should have caught that, but either is what the haters are not seeing is that, that play wouldnt even have happened if Ginn doesnt convert one of the 3rd downs on that drive to get it down there or one of the other conversion catches he makes to get them in FG range for points...not to even mention that he made the 4th and 10 catch to even give us fans that final hope of that hail mary pass

everyone needs to step back and hop off their high horse the kid just had the best game of his career maybe except for the Jets game last season, put him on the Steelers with big ben and his big arm and he will produce like santonio holmes because there the exact same physical make up as a receiver

Ted Ginn...take a step forward!!!

Bro Your A 100percent Right. These People Make Me Sick. They Want To Defend Chad Like He Is There Baby Boy.
Chad Sucks And He Cant Beat A Good D Cause They All Know He Has The Arm Of A School Girl And They Smell Blood In The Water.and Some Of U Guys Are So Dumb That U Dont Get It. We Cant Win A Big Game Vs A Good D With Chad On Our Team.
Can U Guys Imagine How Good Ronnie Brown Could Be If The Defense Was Playing Back A Little Cause We Have A Qb With A Strong Arm.no Matter What U Guys Say The Defense Plays Up Against Us Cause They Know Penny Cant Beat Them Deep So They Move Every 1 Up And Gameplan Around Stopping Brown. Than Some Of U Idiots Think Brown Is A Bust Cause He Has 12 Men In The Box At All Times Lol.
Even If Chad Has A Good Game Here And There It Doesnt Matter Cause A Stronger Armed Qb Probably Would Have Had A Better Game.
Im Sick Of Seeing Ginn Wide Open Down The Field And Than Seeing Him Have To Turn Around And Come Back For The Ball And Taking A Monster Hit Cause The Ball Hangs Up In The Air.

Too bad everyone on here has nothing better to do than to complain about on of our top players in Monday nights game. IMO if Carpenter doesnt miss that FG than he now has a chance at also a game winning one.

Best question is, so we still should of taken Quinn instead of Ginn with that pick?

Get off his back and let him play. He made one mistake in the game but did everything else perfect. Let him turn into a good player.

I Dont See A Wr Dropping A Pass. What I See Is A Wr In His Third Year Who Gets Better And Better And By The Way He Had 10 Rec For 110 Yards. Ginn Coulkd Break 1000 Yards And Clowns Will Still Hate On Him It Makes Me Wonder If They Are Real Fans.

A real #1 breaks 100 yards regularly...AND makes clutch catches like the 2 tds he dropped Monday night.

Keep up with excuses though....blame other things.... whatever gets you through the day.

I don't hate him, i like him. But i came to the realization long ago that he will never be an elite WR in the NFL. He's too inconsistent, struggles to get open, and doesn't make the catches that an elite player would. With his speed he'd be a solid number two behind someone the caliber of Anquan Boldin.

If we're not replacing Wilson (WILSONNN!!), than we're definately not going to replace Chamb...ER? Ginn.

This is a lesson in life : When you're right, no one remembers. When you're wrong, no one forgets.

He converted some key 3rd downs for us, made some great catches..But everone will remember that last catch he did not make to win the game.

exactly, without Ginn they wouldn't have even been in position to score a game-winning TD. my question is why not throw to Fasano on that final play? he was wide open down the seam heading into the endzone.

I couldn't agree with you more. People are out here wanting this guy to be Andre Johnson (6-2 215 Im guessing on the exact size but its close. I know how people like to criticize every little mistake) or T.O. (6-2 or 6-3, 215) and be a physical receiver and snag the ball out of the air with 2 or 3 defenders drapped all over him. The guy is 5-11 180. What do you expect out of him? How many guys who are 5-11 180, who play with a qb that has a weak arm so you have to wait that extra split second for the ball to get there, are known as guys who go up and out muscle defenders for the ball every play? I agree he should have caught that t.d. at the end of the game but how many of the elite guys have dropped a pass like that at some point in there careers? It happens. The difference is they probably are on a team that has an offense that would give them another chance. In our offense if you miss a chance to catch a TD you may not get another chance. People are talking about Ginn not getting any yards after the catch, well if you have to wait an extra second for the ball to get there that gives the defender time to close in. And the routes the receivers are forced to run because of the weakness of Chads arm makes it much harder to get YAC. 7 yard out routes to the sideline with a defender all over you on one side of your body and the out of bounds line 1 yard on your other side does not allow many YAC no matter who the receiver is. Most receivers YAC comes from catching a deep pass and running with it (We know Chad is not throwing those types of passes) and quick slant routes where the QB who has a strong arm fits the ball in between a couple defenders and the receiver splits them and is off to the races. People are being way too hard on Ginn. No I do not think the guy will ever be a number one receiver but 11 catches for 100 somehting yards on Monday night football is not bad at all and if our defense decided to show up people would not be complaining about him right now. Its not his fault he was drafted so early but to be honest Brady Quinn hasn't impressed me much either. Ill wait a few more weeks to see how Ginn responds to form any opinions on if he is a bust or not. Outside of that drop, I think everyone on here would love their receiver to have 11 catches for over 100 yards and key catch after key catch on third down and one of 4th. Everyone just needs to chill at least for a few more weeks.

How many yards did Randy Moss have against the Jets??...By all standards, he is a real #1

I didn't say a #1 always will have 100 yards, but how many does Moss avg a year? How many does Ginn? you guys are hysterical...he finally broke 100yards and you guys act like our WR problems are over and we finally have a #1 in ginn. Esp after the 2 tds he dropped.

Would moss have either of the 2 tds he dropped in the endzone? I think he would have had at least one if not both. Catching clutch passes is what seperates avg from elite. Before Monday I would hope our #2 wr would catch a ball that hits him in the hands....now we have to worry about our #1 doing so.

The only thing I don't like is that he is so fast that he can't stay on his feet for an entire play. Couple that with a sideline fetish
