Guys Im on my phone so no links, but word going around is Ginn is in the Dog House. Rotoworld is rwporting it. We all saw yesterday how Ginn was given back KR/PR duties. He also sat for quite some time, and according to Omar Kelly he was extremely fraustrated on the sidelines, and did not even stick around for reporters. How long he will be in the doghouse? who knows.

OJ Mcduffie continues to be extremely critical of Ginn and today said he was uncoachable.

I have been highly critical of Ginn and rightfully so IMO. However, I have not lost hope for him quite yet. Keyshawn was after him, McDuffie is after him so those on the board after him are in good company but, if I remember correctly, Terry Glenn took alot more heat from Parcell's et al in the early years in New England and look how he turned out! It is up to Ginn to nut up or face a short NFL career.

Good. Tedd Ginn should be critical of himself. He has not lived up to his potential and someone needs to let him know.

ginn is definitely a bust and i only say that because he was drafted so high and should be a #1 WR given the position of the draft. he is ok in the slot and a good return man but not the #1 we need. thats why hartline has played as much as ginn and most of the time camrillo and bess are the 2 WR out there

Because Ted Ginn sucks. He is what he is- a 2 or 3 on a decent team. He will never be a #1. That much is now clear.

If he's so damn frustrated, why doesn't he work on actually catching the ball when it is thrown to him? I'm tired of seeing him drop routine passes and then get mad and slap the ground with his hands. I honestly don't know why that makes me so mad. Just catch the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They Gave Ginn more then enough chances to prove himself. No its not his fault they drafted him number one but he had more then enough time to see if he can be an NFL receiver. He Cant.

I think Ted Ginn is alright as a #2 receiver. He's going to have to work a lot harder to be considered a #1 receiver though. #1 receivers are very reliable and tend to make the big plays when the pressure is on. Those 4th quarter with 2 minutes left kind of games. That's when the big dogs have their day in the sun and make the plays that get the glory and all that.

Ted Ginn needs to get super confident and do exactly what he's supposed to do out there. When he gets his opportunities he needs to take full advantage of them. God blessed him with unbelievable speed. He needs to show some toughness out there. Break some tackles, make some big blocks for the running backs. Flash that quickness. Juke some DBs out of their cleats, kick in the turbo charger and haul arse for some TDs like the Roadrunner. That'll silence the critics for awhile. :chuckle:

Maybe when his contract will be up, he'll play well.:ponder:

Am I the only one who thinks he also need to learn where the hell he is on the football field. He leaves a bunch a yards on the field and yesterday I could have killed the SOB when he caught the punt on like the 15. That could have turn disastorous.

Dan Henning ought to try running the reverse with Ted Ginn a little more. Only when the timing is perfect though. Ginn nearly broke one all the way yesterday. If he had made the cut upfield toward the sideline instead of inside he could have kicked in the afterburners and made a big name for himself yesterday.

Ginn needs to quickly scan the whole field as he runs. Not tunnel vision. The best running backs and wide receivers have good peripheral vision and can almost feel defensive guys when they get close to them. Maybe there are some drills they can do in practice for open field running and peripheral vision, etc.

This is great news. Its about time this team starts making Ginn work for that #1 position. Make him start from the bottom up like the rookies. He is obviously not the best WR on our team, i think Bess and Camarillo are both HANDS DOWN better then him, he does have more upside, but he has not shown any of it. 1 good game 1 year ago is not gonna cut it. Bess, Camarillo and even Heartline now are playing good day in and day out. I hate how people automatically make Ginn a started, when he hasnt proven $h*t.....

For all the speed the guy is touted for.. he got zero separation on any of those deep balls Henne threw.

The don't have to be infront or on stride. Look at the adjustment coming back to the ball TO made. Nice little catch,, and a receiver making a play.

People said that Ginn would reach his potential with Henne.. i think it is only exposing him...

Leave him to all the return duties.

Its very simple he is NOT a number 1 and he has had his chance. This coaching staff will allow only so much time to prove. Yes we all know the guy has speed...Ok.... I think you need more then that...like maybe some hands when a big play is needed (IND).. o yes and just one other thing TOUGHNESS. Keep him on PR a slot here and there. I just can not see the need for him for us to win. This guy has only hurt us. Let him prove himself on PR..

He reminds me of the brother that got turned into the turd in Weird Science....
