ted ginn not a BP type player?

We all know ted ginn is small (5'11 178)... and we all know BP likes his "guys" to be big... it seems like in order to be on this team you have to be at least 6 foot and at least 200 lbs.. does this spell trouble for ted ginn in a couple of years if he doesnt produce.. and/or does this spell trouble now with BP limiting involvment of our mini hero?

I honestly think that Ginn will be traded next year.... he is an over paid special teams player right now.... all will depend if Ginn can be a #1wr...... of course Ginn could restructure his contract.

honestly i think ginn will be a really good reciever.. im just scared BP wont use him because of his size

Dave Meggett. David Lee Meggett Position: RB Height: 5' 7'' Weight: 180

Terry Glenn (5'11, 195)

And Ginn has supposively bulked up this offseason.

What if Bill thinks, "Ted Ginn = Terry Glenn" She'll be outta here!

Sure, Ginn may not be the prototype for what Parcells wants at the receiver position, but Parcells isn't stupid. We have a lot of money tied into Ginn, and Ginn has too much talent to be ignored. Sure size is nice and a bigger player can be physically imposing, but so can a faster player. I think Ginn's speed intimidates almost as much as some player's size.

Well Hagan is BP type player, ideal size but can't catch.

:Sarcasm:

Oh ya She Glenn was 5'10 1/2.

Terry Glenn who is a player that has played with Parcells for a number of years is 5-11 196 pds. Parcells signed Wilford as our Big Strong Reciever to take role similiar to Keyshawn. I think he sees the same in Ginn, as he see in Glenn.

Reports are Ginn has put on some weight.

While he doesnt have the size, I think if Parcells didnt want him around, he would have been gone already. Ginn is a rocket and was totally misused by the geniuses of the previous regime. In the very limited time Ginn played WR, he was very good. I think Ginn is one that is going to stick around, and quite honestly, I will be very pissed if he does get the boot.

If Ted Ginn is 5'11" and 178lbs, he's exactly the same size as Lionel Manuel was listed at when he was playing WR under the coaching of Bill Parcells. I don't think the 'size rule' comes into effect for receivers so much. If he's productive, I don't think anyone will give a damn what size Ginn is. As has been said before, Ginn's a very similar size to Marvin Harrison. He's done okay, or maybe even just a little better than okay. I doubt any team would have been chucking him away in his prime simply because he is a bit on the small side.

look BP has two kinda guys one HUGE linemen and line backers on D Big tall qb's and HUGE linemen on O. the second type are play making skill guys secondary and wide outs size does not matter as much to BP as long as they are play makers i think Ginn has bulked up some and is coming into camp 100% healthy unlike last year he will be fine he wont trade him. but he will bring in a big tall wide out next year so he may be shifted to slot or #2 wide out eventually but hey he is a play maker and this year we will get the ball to him in open space and he will show us what he can do.

great points my man.. i hope your right

Ted Ginn will be a very good receiver this year with Beck getting more time to throw behind a better offensive line. He has incredible speed and showed last year that he has very good hands. He rarely dropped the ball last year.
