The reasons you guys hate him so much is because he is a 1st round pick.

- He is still the only player on this team who draws double/triple coverage sometimes.

-I just think that Ginn is unlucky..I mean that Pick 6 by Sharper was a freak play and a couple of times like in the playoff game against the Ravens where he fumbled was also bad luck.

He is one of the best players we have on offense (talent-wise) besides the running backs.

***He is definitley not the reason we lost against the Saints***

yeah i would love teddy if we used him diffrently like let him get sick at returns run that little reverse he does and make plays when we need him too, i just dont like him being the go to guy

your right about him not being the reason.. but he didnt do anything to help us beat the saints either.. his contributions were minimal while his failures were colossal..

Triple coverage by who- Moe, Larry and Curly?

Yes, in terms of what a so-called #1 WR is supposed to bring to the table, Ted Ginn is the weak link of this team. Gibril Wilson is in the vicinity.

How can a post this retarded not have typo's?

I used to defend Ginn. I hoped he would turn it around. Now I realize he is what he is. He is no better than a 4th WR. He can catch a perfectly thrown ball about half the time. The only asset he has is speed. We should just go sign other track stars and see how they pan out. It's time to stop defending the guy.

What makes him so talented? He has awful hands, he can't break tackles, he can't make guys miss in the open field. His only talent is his ability to out run people.

Maybe being the #1 receiver is the wrong role and the coaching staff needs to look at camy to take over and take some pressure off Ginn.
Just a thought.

Smartest things you have said in a long while... Ginn is excatly that...

I agree that Tedd Ginn is one of the more talented players on offense but talent can't make up for his crucial miscues and inability to consistently catch the ball.

You can say "he's definitely not the reason we lost the saints game," but how do you know that? He was responsible for a play that gave the Saints 7 points, which changed the entire game and gave them all the momentum. A 24-10 game turns into a 24-17 game and all of a sudden were in a dog fight with the best team in the league. You didn't even mention the fact that he dropped a trash time touchdown and dropped what should have been a touchdown vs the colts. You then bring a fumble in a playoff game and want us to believe that this is all due to him "being unlucky?"

I'm calling bull**** on this one. The guy is way to inconsistent and has been a major part of 2 losses this season. What you call "bad luck," I say he's a bum. This is something that this team can no longer afford going forward.

You ever hear of a WR named Limas Sweed? He was a second round pick by the superbowl winning Steelers in 2008. Long story short, he dropped what should have been a TD this year (they ended up losing) and was called out by coach Tolmin and instantly benched. He hasn't seen the field since. This type of play by a young player should and will not be tolerated by a good orginization.

This post is a lame way to defend Miss Teddy. So if a 1st rounder drops pass its classified as unlucky? What about when he runs out of bounds after, in a rare instance, she catches the ball? Whats that called? Just him feeling sick or something. This is professional football. Theres no such thing as bad luck, especially with as many drops as Ginn has had. Its not bad luck, its bad hands, period!!!

With all due respect, having talent and using it are 2 different things. Some would argue that Ryan Leaf had talent but he is a complete moron as a human being thus useless to a football team.
Bottom line with Ginn, to date, has not lived up to his potential. Has the tools, speed, hands, route running capability but running scared so all those tools are wasted.
Trust me, I wanted this guy to be our Desean Jackson but again, to date, he just doesn't have "IT."

His fate is signed, sealed, and delivered. I doubt he has too much of a role going forward.
