Miami Dolphins: Ted Ginn Jr., WR
Like fellow Ohio State product Santonio Holmes, Ginn appears to be poised to make a big leap between Years 1 and 2. Also like Holmes, he needs to improve his overall strength and grasp of the offense. He became a far more consistent receiving option the second half of his rookie season. And with Marty Booker back in Chicago, that should open the door for Ginn to claim the No. 1 wideout spot.

I think I heard somewhere that Ted is bulking up a little

Ted has always seemed to protect himself pretty well. He is a tough man and is also fearless but has that talent to control it and make the most of it. I really like him and after getting over the intial shock I am happy to have him.

I heard via his father on the local radio show he was already beginning his "bulk" training, and this was last month.

When you have a guy with as much natural ability as Ginn and couple that with a desire to get better, you have a special player in the making. Ted Ginn has displayed amazing character his whole football life.

Who knew Cam knowing the "Ginn family" would payoff so well.

I think Ted Ginn Jr is going to be a star in the NFL he alwats streches a plays for as much yard possible.

Barely snuck one out didn't we? GO HEELS! Teddy showed nice hands last year I thought. That was where he surprised me the most.

I'm glad Ginn is putting in so much effort to realize his potential, I just wish everyone could do that. It would make this league much more exciting and it would make teams even better.

If Ginn could get up to 185 to 190 lbs, he would be a monster

If he gets to that weight, he would be about the same as Steve Smith except with more speed. A lot of people like to compare Ginn to Smith or Santana Moss. I think Ginn could be more like Smith than Santana.

I think i heard somewhere that Ted is getting a brazilian wax!

not sure what for... maybe to not have much visible hair when he's in a thong. either that or to make himself more aerodynamic. if the latter is the case, then you gotta respect his desire to make himself faster!

In all honesty . . . the knocks we heard on Ginn before the draft last year were complete BS. The man has good hands, is not scared to go across the middle, can take a hit . . . he runs solid routes, but with the poor QB play on this team, when there is miscommunication, u almost have to blame the QB . . . if we have any kind of decent QB play and add a big time receiver in the draft, I think we will have a nice trio of receivers . . . possibly Ginn, Wilford and Sweed . . . with Hagan as the #4 guy.

Look what Henning did with Steve Smith in Carolina...I'm sure he has similar plans for Ted. I just don't want him to bulk up too much and start having pulls etc... i have always liked Ginn and he seems to have a terrific attitude and work ethic... I also think he can be great.

Parcells comes on board and suddenly both him and Beck seem to be deciding that it might be time to start hitting the weight room. Can't say there's a connection there, as both were rooks last year, but one has to wonder if the hiring might not have provided a little extra motivation.

This is how I feel!! :woot: :woot:

I think alot of us stilll havnt realized how good this guy is going to be...hes 175 in this video...imagine when he puts on 10-15 lb's of lean muscle. Imagine his 3rd year breakout after this next year of fillin in some offensive holes and hopefully figuring out our QB of the future...

Hes going to be special. If we manage to get Limas Sweed or James Hardy along side him...wow. We would have a VERY good offense for years to come once everything clicks.
