Ted Wells Report

There is nothing controversial in it that's why. If something major was uncovered it would have leaked and been addressed by the league I think

Why would they cancel the other meetings after talking to Martin, unless Martin changed his mind in some way, or the investigator made his mind up against Martin and did not need to talk to the others.

Martin probly wants to play again. He drops it. He has no where else to go!

I got....I got no where else to go! Richard Gere, Officer and Gentlemen.

or maybe he rediscovered the violin.

Wells must not have racked up as many billable hours as he expected. It will take a few more weeks to get that new yacht.

cancelled meetings means investigation over IMO

Well tif the report the other day that there was no bombshell unearthed is true, this doesn't look good for mama's boy.

According to ESPN, Martin is apparently being uncooperative.

If he is being uncooperative he can't win the Nfl investigation. He'll probably either drop it or file a lawsuit.

They are probably trying to sweep it under the rug.

Agreed. The best thing for the NFL was for the report either to come out right away -- say, within a week -- or after the season, when the attention on the NFL drops dramatically. Among other things, the bulk of NFL reporters schedule their vacations for this time of year. Either this or the few weeks before training camp opens. They need to get it in before the NFL draft coverage really heats up.

This year the draft is in the second week of May, or about two weeks later than normal, which has already lead to much grumbling among the reporters. Free agency begins right away, which is one of the busiest times of year. More reporters than normal will be taking their vacations in that early gap, if I had to guess. The fewer eyes on this the better (from the league's perspective, anyway).

I think that the incident could be the turning point in Joe Philbin's career. He had the wisdom to let the players express their thoughts through the media instead of sustaining a locker room mandated "no comment" and this seems to have brought the team closer together, with greater determination to succeed.
Maybe it's a bit of wishful thinking, but the team is playing well, against all odds.

Yep, sources said he was unwilling to turn over text messages as well as meet with the NFLPA independent investigator Richard Smith. Looks more and more like he made up the bullying scenario.

You ever get in an argument with somebody who knows they are wrong but just can't let it go? They get loud, abusive, argumentative, uncooperative, and so on? Martina has her panties in a bunch because 52 other men aren't playing her crap.

This tactic of Martina's works really well in some instances and forwards agendas really well because most people just want to shut up or appease the difficult person. Not the NFL though. Have fun climbing that mountain Martina's mommy and daddy. That ride ain't space mountain.
