Honestly, I feel what hurt Martin and his case was that both the locker room and Incognito went public. Richie gave Jay Glazer over 2,000 texts and I'm sure Wells got the same thing. It seems like Martin was expecting the other parties to stay quiet and they didn't. Of course, it also doesn't help when you have really respected former players like Michael Strahan and Tiki Barber coming out and saying that what was coming out was normal locker room behavior as well as players from around the league more giving Martin flack for not standing up for himself.
And people should really relax on flipping out about the media jumping to conclusions. It's what they do. If you are expecting an apology or owning up, not going to happen.
