the reason for Joey's quick release and 5 yard patterns is easy. He is a Tedford guy. the tedford system is a system where you make quick reads and throw passes 4-7 yards out. tahts why the QBs look so good in college b/c it is a college system and that gives them good stats and none of hte 6 or 7 QBs of this system have been successful in the NFL.

from a slight recall, Joey is one, Detmer, Aj Feeley, boller etc etc.

dont expect anything crazy guys, thats what he has been under for years and it wont change netime soon.

Our new disease? Your post ignores one HUGE fact about all the players mentioned including JOEY HARRINGTON. They are all backup quarterbacks on their respective teams......

and we have had two of them which is why i think he is saying we should stay away from his qbs
 
Joey, for the most part, has been painful to watch. He is soooooo robotic!
 
Joey = Jay Fiedler ....ONLY WORSE.

How is he worse you might ask?

Because Jay knew when to and loved to run around and use his legs.

Joey plays pocket QB 99% of the time.

Hence, I give the advantage to Fiedler, because just like him, this guy is not a real starting QB. Joey's a great backup guy. Someone you can trust to hold the fort down more or less until the REAL guy steps in, but nothing that will get you too far into the playoffs....if you can even get there.
