Tell me again how Tannehill is a bust.

I've never seen a guy so athletic be such a statue in the pocket. I mean typically a running QB's problem is that they use their legs too much, yet Tannehill doesn't use them at all. His pocket presence is just awful.

His problem is mostly mental. Ive never seen a quarterback so terrified of the pocket.

On a brighter note...our former QB has finally hit another sandbar...Henne was benched and is officially NFL fodder

 this thread.

 at you never doing ANYTHING but being a Monday morning QB and criticizing everything. Try sacking up and making a bold statement other than "I'm done being a Dolphins fan until Ireland is released trololol."

Tannehill freaking blows. been saying that he is just like Driskel at UF. Ridicualously terrible pocket presence. Most batted balls don in the league i bet you.

Wow. This is almost a big a fail as WV's "Boss" thread...

If you're all going to compare what was going on a YEAR ago, and the O-Line we were fielding then...with what happened today, just go ahead and line up. Because that's craziness.

I have been in the minority, until now, with my negative opinion of tannehill. the likes you and the other idiots on here insisting that its never his fault and the gamut of excuses. you can go get yourself nice and ****ed. how about you sack up and just admit you were wrong instead of taking some weak ass shot at me? troll some more...

Yeah, it's funny how some things that you say a year or so earlier can look silly in hindsight.

Like, for example:

I'm an Ireland hater...not a Tannehill hater...so no crow here! Ireland still has to go!!!

Imagine if Ireland had given this guy a decent OL all year!!!! **** him...

But then again...

Ireland is back not matter what the hell he does...Ross is an idiot

Wow. That attempt at getting "my goat" was a fail too...good job! You're batting 1000.

I think you may have made me look even better with the choice of posts you used to attack me with...good job!

Read first, research, then post, then maybe you'll look like less of an idiot yourself. This original post is from a year ago, you ####wad. When Tannehill had no time. And TODAY, I said that nobody would get much of an augment from me calling Tannehill a bust. So, yes, the statemwnt I made from nearly a year ago was incorrect.

Let's just gloss over the fact that it was that long ago, and this year's performance didn't enter into it. Because you and the rest of the Douchey MMQB crew tend to do that sort of thing.

I flat stated earlier in the year that Tannehill needs to produce this year, or it's time for a new QB.

What utterly baffles me is the posters who seem to take more please in "AHAHAHAH I TOLD YOU SO" than actual team success.

Really, you're all just sad.

He had good plays and bad plays today. People will forget one or the other.

Off the top of my head,

Good:

- Touchdown pass to Clay. Great play after the catch, but lost in that, great throw.
- Scrambling and staying in bounds with just over 2 minutes to play.
- Nice, decisive couple of throws to get the ball out of the shadow of our own goalposts at the end of the game. Go look at that throw down the seam to Matthews. That's a top tier throw right there, folks.
- Got the team up to the line quickly late in the game so that the Chargers couldn't sub personnel, but then milked the clock effectively. That was very nice to see.

Bad:

- The interception. Fooled by the coverage. Nice play by the defense. Still a lousy interception.
- Missed Wallace deep.
- Missed Hartline on that late play.
- Went out of bounds on the last play before the punt at the end of the game. Maybe that's only a four second difference, but we'd just seen him have the presence of mind to stay in bounds.

I haven't changed my mind. Let him continue to develop. And... GET HIM A REAL QUARTERBACK COACH.

Didn't miss Wallace deep. Wallace stepped out of bounds, meaning he could not be the first player to touch the ball. That's why the refs hat was on the ground. Tannehill threw it away

To be honest, I didn't waste all that much time. Point being, stuff we post from a year ago looks silly today. If you'd like me to, I'll sift through a lot of your MMQB critiques to find more for you.

I did notice a nice couple quotes mocking the grammar of others, when you clearly couldn't tell the difference between "your" and "you're" in a post.

Also, it's 1.000, champ. Not 1000. If you're going try to mock me using baseball stats, at least try to do it right.

It is definitely on par.

Hey, the gang's all here!

As opposed to the guys who quite clearly are bigger Tannehill fans than Dolphins fans. :rolleyes2:
