Would someone tell me why Nick seems to play games with the practice squad. A lot of teams use the practice squad to develop players and we seem to use it just to have guys come in for a week to imitate a player from that weeks opponent and then we cut the guy. Makes no damn sense!!! And why is it that we keep seeing Jack Hunt signed, Jack Hunt released and Norman LeJeune signed, LeJeune released and LeJeune signed again. It seems that it's just because they played for Nick at LSU that he does that as a favor to them to have them around for awhile and then cut them. They have been cut and re-signed more then Billy Martin was with the Yankees!!!! And as slow as LeJeune is, I can't see why we'd want him around anyway. We need to use the practice squad to develop guys who are worth developing. I hardly think LeJeune falls into that category.

Maybe they are just very smart, and very adept at learning new systems quickly. That could prove to being invaluable in the sense of practicing for an opponent.

If thats the case, they should be on the team. Our current players sure cant decipher our own scheme, let alone other teams.

jack hunt apparently knows the system like the back of his hand and tutored jason allen a little on how it works in the preseason he also had some storming peformances in the preseason to i dont see why we dont just hold on to him and can that crappy lejeune

LeJeune is extremely slow so I can't see why we'd want to sign him, even to the practice squad. He stunk it up all pre-season long against 3rd teamers. The guy has nothing to offer.
