Wouldnt this alleviate some of the lag and badwidth issues? Ive seen other fan sites do this in instances where there is heavy traffic due to big news..

This does 2 things...

-Makes the site run better for registered users.

-Leads to an influx of registration.

Thoughts?
 
Yea, I think that'd be a good idea, especially since it took about 10 minutes just to read and post this.. :tantrum:
 
Yes excellent idea, let them register if they wanna see the breaking news, that or find another fansite. This is ridiculous.
 
I agree this should be done, until we either hopefully sign Brees or trade for Culpepper.
 
I'm a member and have been denied access to pages. I get to read page one the i'm denied access to the rest of the pages.:confused:
 
I know it doesn't help when people start improper threads in the forum that has the heaviest traffic.

You should know better, Skape.

and then there is the new rant "Sick and Tired" against all the stupid threads....."I know it's in the wrong forum but..."
 
Something big must be up (other than signing Scott Fujita) Saintsreport has crashed. They're on a good server with lots of bandwidth last time this happened Ricky got traded........
 
WOW the Saints site is down too... This is getting bad, Saints fans stay at Saintsreport, Fin Fans stay at FinHeaven! Chaos..

It would never be seen otherwise.. Plus, it takes about 30 minutes just to post, it probably would have taken an hour just to get to the proper forum and post..

Regardless, is this not feasible?
