We all thought that if the dolphins were to contain chris johnson, that it would be an easy win. Well vince young told us wrong. Even scarier than that is Houston is riding into Miami. If you have yet to watch a houston game, you dont know what you are missing. Schaub seems to just throw the ball 60 yards and andre johnson catches it. These two, i think, are going to make gibril wilson look even worse than he already has looked. there should not be a single play when johnson is not double covered. I'm scared that the little chance the phins have to get into the playoffs will come to an end this sunday. Just my opinion.

Noone can argue that!

Johnson could easily put up 200 against us if we let him.

In fairness, the D we played against Young was super basic, because we were so focused on stopping C. Johnson. We'll be able to focus on the pass more against Houston.

That said, I agree that this will be a difficult task for our D. If O. Daniels were still healthy, I'd label Houston heavy favorites. As it is, I think we have a slight advantage going in.

While I don't want to underestimate Schaub and Andre who may be the best WR in the game, the Titans offense is massive headache because VY frankly has been very accurate on his throws (some of the TD passes were perfectly thrown and beat decent coverage) and their WRs have been solid, VY can take off with the ball and of course CJ. What it means is that you need to be able to account for two pretty effective threats AND one monstrous threat at once. The Texans no doubt have the Schaub/Johnson connection which is scary but at least we can focus on it without giving up too much in the rest of the game plan.

care to elaborate?

I believe they are the better team as of now... the beginning of the season was marred with defensive injuries, and Collins ineffectiveness...

As their defense got healthy and Vince Young came on they have flourished... Young has really become a good pocket passer with amazing accuracy, especially on his deep passes... even before this game I was praising Young on his accuracy on the long ball and he showed it our game, that one TD to Washington in the back corner of the end zone that had Vontae in good coverage showed how a perfect pass is not defendable...

then add in Chris Johnson and how teams have to defend that and its a 2 dimensional attack that makes it very hard for defenses to defend... add in a healthy defense and thats a good *** team, much better than the one dimensional and inconsistent Texans

About 6 or 7 weeks ago, I may have said this game scares me more than any of our last 4 games of the year. Now, I will say I'm more confident this week then I was against Jax and Tennessee and that I will be against Pitt. Could AJ put 200 yards on us? Absolutely. Can we still win even if he does do that? Absolutely.

- The game is at home. This helps quite a bit.
- The Texans have no running game. Slaton may have scared me in the beginning of the year, but he along with Moats, Foster, and Brown do not scare me one bit. They will not be able to run the ball on us.
- Their defense does not compare to Tennessee or Pittsburghs today. 6 weeks ago, I would say their defense was comparable to Tenn, but with Tenn getting healthy in their secondary, their D is far superior to Houston's. Houston's D has alot of young talent, but they are still young and need to grow a bit.
- Schaub is not a QB that can beat you with his legs. We've seen Garrard pick up some key first downs with his legs, we saw Fitzpatrick take one to the house for 30 yards (yeah, I said Ryan Fitzpatrick ran for a 30 yard TD against us, scary). We have a big problem with running QB's, mainly b/c our ILB's are bad.

I'm pretty confident we break the curse this week. Hopefully week 17 will be a playoff game for us.

Didn't he beat us with his legs last season?

So what you meant to say is Houston is no Tennessee, not vice versa.
