Brown needs 114 yards to reach 1000 on the year. The way the Pats are currently playing, it will be hard to even reach 30 yards for Ronnie on the day. So Ronnie needs atleast 80 yards next Sunday Vs. TEN to even think about getting to 1000. TEN has a fair run D. Here is what they have allowed on a week to week basis:

Leading Rusher
Week 1 (PIT) W. Parker (161 Yards)
Week 2 (BAL) J. Lewis (9 Yards)
Week 3 (STL) M. Faulk (50 Yards)
Week 4 (IND) E. James (90 Yards)
Week 5 (HOU) D. Davis (130 Yards)
Week 6 (CIN) R. Johnson (80 Yards)
Week 7 (ARI) J. Arrington (30 Yards)
Week 8 (OAK) L. Jordan (67 Yards)
Week 9 (CLE) R. Droughts (116 Yards)
Week 11 (JAC) G. Jones (33 Yards)
Week 12 (SF) K. Barlow (40 Yards)
Week 13 (IND) E. James (107 Yards)
Week 14 (HOU) D. Davis (139 Yards)
Week 15 (SEA) S. Alexander (172 Yards)

Avg. 87 Yards Per Game - 1224 Yards Allowed All Season (From Featured Back)

TEN has allowed 418 Yards in their last 3 games with an avg. of 139 Yards allowed a game (from featured back).

They have also allowed 6 100 Yard rusher's this season. They allow 4.1 Yards per carry.

Your oppinions?

Sounds like they are about average in run defense. Thanks for the research.

the only issue is how many of those teams feature a RBBC? i don't think any of them do really...

we DO.

so that means we will most likely hit around 80-100 yards between our two backs. it also really depends if we run away with the game... if we put up a big lead early, we have a greater chance to run the ball more - we tend to lose or go down early, which means we will pass a lot.

i dunno.

Mcnair is gonna kill our secondary, just look what he did to the seahawks, and look what bollinger did today!!!

Jets played us very tough, but McNair was playing at home too. I think the Fins will recover this week though.

Miami will change something. No way Miami will let a team throw back to back weeks for over 300 yards. McNair is good though. He will get some of his throws. I think Miami will focus on stopping their run, and try to cut down on some of McNair's passes. You can expect a couple hundred yards from McNair and maybe a TD or 2. But at the end of the day, it will not be enough. Dolphins 27 Titans 20

Depends how much we run it and how effective Ricky is IMO. I think he'll get it early in week 17. Probably about 70 vs Titans

Hopefully. He will probably have to break a long one though.
