No, not to my knowledge. I wouldn't be opposed to adding a db. However, I think Howard and Daniels need to play since Daniels seems like a big part of our future at the position and Howard will still be a tough guy to cut next year due to cap impact.

Anyway, Madison and Buckley were the 2 starting corners when we drafted Surtain... we need to move forward, not backward.

Saban has made it pretty clear that he wants to build this team through the draft... i.e. youth.

If the nickel play of Howard continues to struggle & we continue to win then we're gonna have to bring in someone, new or old. It's always about winning now.

Here's a semi-related question... do we have to take someone off the active roster when RW comes back? If that is the case, bringing in a nickel DB could be tough to do.

Yes, the most likely choices seem to be Chatman or Minor.
