Terrelle Pryor- "I thought I was going to Miami"

Actually you don't know that, we could have put a 3rd up, we still would have lost the bid to the Raiders...and you'd never know unless they divulge it.

Weren't the Raiders the 18th slot, and we were the 15th slot?

We would have gotten Pryor had we put the third up.

I bet TS wanted Pryor as a Wildcat QB. Just the thing we need.

The Patriots used a 3rd on Mallet and the Raiders used a 3rd on Pryor, that explains a lot.

Yes, Oakland was 8-8 last year.. If we had put in a 3rd, he would be ours right now.. however, our front office isn't as dimwitted as many of you would believe..

Surprisingly most of the responses about Pryor have been consistent with not wanting the guy

Yea but you know how that goes . . . he becomes a superstar and people will say this regime "whiffed" again and how they knew we should have rolled the dice on him. Its the never ending cycle of wanting to be right, yet wanting to be a fan . . . so if I'm negative towards something . . . anything . . whether I'm right or wrong . . . I still come out on top. If I'm right its "I told you so" . . . if I'm wrong "I'm happy to eat crow". Finheaven is classic for this.

Wow your right, I just assumed we had a better record than Oakland last year.....god thats depressing.

Pfft.. they were incredibly lucky and went 6-0 in their division.. that wont happen again.. plus we stomped on them last year as well

Sorry Pryor, you're not worth a 3rd round pick. If they spent a 3rd on you, most people on Finheaven would have committed suicide.

Well the raiders thought he was . I would not have risked a 3rd rounder but hell if Gates is worth close to a third rounder then u could make an arguement that Pryor was. There are always players drafted that most people dont feel are worth the pick its all about opinion. One also could make the arguement he was a better pick than Hartline was in the 4th round as far as where they were supposed to go. Hartline did nothing really in college and many thought he was worth like a 6th or a 7th and we see how that turned out. He is obviously a much better prospect than most people u would draft in the 6th or 7th like a Frank kearse or even a Nolan Carrol that we took in fifth. How they pan out is a different story.

Al Davis is hoping that Pryor can carry him on his back to outrun the Grim Reaper
