His [Pryor's] 40 time was a speedy 4.33. Sophomore receiver Lamaar Thomas said he ran a 4.37 and no one else ran under 4.4 when the players were timed early this summer. ...
"I'm not so sure he might not be one of the fastest guys in the conference," OSU coach Jim Tressel said of Pryor. "I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Our other guys aren't slow."

Pryor is fast but I don't buy this 40 time at all. Rarely ever are these accurate. For instance, earlier this year just before our spring game in March, DeMarcus Van Dyke was said to have ran a 4.1 according to our strength coach. Sam Shields ran a 4.2, etc. It just isn't happening. DVD and Shields are both lightning fast but I just can't buy those 4.1 40 times. I do trust the NFL combine, though.

Yeah those 4.1 have to be hand timed... Which means it's not very accurate. I'm sure they can run around a 4.3 tho. And honestly, 40 times don't really mean that much. Ted Ginn ran a 4.38 but has always been the fastest player I've ever seen on film with pads on.
