The Dolphins playcalling is just pathetic. Right from the start you could see that the Wildcat formation wasnt doing anything. They continued to try and run it, they continued to get nothing. They always run on first and 2nd down and then its always 3rd and 8, 3rd and 4 etc...They run all these short passing plays too. I know Penningtons arm isnt strong but he cant throw the ball over 20 yards? He made it into the NFL didnt he? His arm cant be that weak. It's like theyre doing all these short plays to compensate for his arm strength. They need to go down the field, it makes me sick when i see other teams going deep and puttin up points quickly. We need to run 10-12 plays in order to go 60 yards. On that 4th down in the 4th quarter where he threw the ball to Cobbs short of the first down...why was he running so short of the first down marker? Why not send him on the same play but deep enough that if/when he catches it he'll have a definate first down??? It doesnt make any sense to me. How about at the end of the 2nd half i think it was...They ran the ball on 3rd down in the redzone. What the hell was that about? Its 3rd and goal and your gonna run the ball? Why not throw to the corner or try somethin? Instead they're content with just gettin 3. And, if Ronnie wasnt getting any yards on the ground why not send him out for a pass here and there, hes more of a playmaker than anybody else on the team. We can move the ball by passing. They showed that on the last drive of the game. How come they dont do that all game? They're so conservative all game with these short passes and running on first and 2nd downs all the time. They never run Ginn on any streaks up the field. He should be able to burn somebody eventually, hes got the speed. He sucks when he catches the ball and then tries to run after the catch. He gets tackled instantly or runs out of bounds. They kept running that Wildcat crap like they felt like it worked for those 2 weeks so they should lean on it and keep using it. After they saw it wasnt working from the start they should've stayed away from it and tried to play the game normally. The Ravens were all over it, if they were gonna run it they should've made it some trick play like last weeks play. Its a shame when your TE's are makin a majority of the catches and gettin open. We need WR help badly, and like ive said in the past...we need new CB's. Yeremiah Bells the only one capable of holding his own in the whole secondary. All the other leave guys wide open, try to do those stupid arm tackles all the time letting guys just break thru for an extra 15 yards. Jason Allen aint even on the field ever, what a great 1st round pick he was.
