He was even tougher than we thought -

"The 33-year-old Armstead played 12 NFL seasons but said a knee injury that he initially suffered in 2015 never fully healed.

“I’ve been dealing with a knee since my third year in the league,” Armstead said. “I didn’t see a practice field at all, and not because I didn’t want to or the Dolphins just wanted me to rest. It’s like I literally couldn’t walk. After a game on Sunday, I wouldn’t be able to walk on my own, under my own power, until Wednesday, Thursday. So I was only able to play under the pain meds. I couldn’t put any pressure on my knee, so it was like, I can’t keep doing that to myself.”"

Hell of a player. Sucks to see anybody live with that kind of pain, but he stuck it out as much as he could it would seem.

Respect.

As much as Terron will be missed I'm hoping the increased practice time that the o-line gets as a complete unit can help close the performance gap a bit.

I hadn't thought about that @artdnj , gonna be a big change for me this season. I've got 128 days sober, no more All-you-can drink Sundays anymore. Picked a hell of a season for it!

Just think, If and you will remain sober through this season you got it licked for life

I fully accept Mr. Armstead's statement as accurate and believable.

I want to publicly thank Mr. Armstead for his time and for the contributions he made to the Dolphins while he was here.

I hope he finds a way to get that knee fully healed in his retirement.

Best Regards from Ray R.
