This restructure saves the team up front about $13.7 million, and they were about $800K under the cap as of today, so this alone has the Dolphins at about $14.5 million under. A few more restructures (like Chubb, Jackson and Seiler) and they will have around $41 million to work with this year. That doesn't even account for the Tua contract restructure they could do that would boost it to $60 million in space.

Also an additional potential 6 million more. Cap was thought to be 275 million but release like 2 weeks ago that’ll it fall at that 275 or as high as 281 so hope for the 281 to get the extra 6 million. While some may be against Tua this opens up us for trading Tyreek post June 1st. I did Tua, Chubb, brewer,brooks and Jackson for restructures plus Tyreek pre June 1st trade and it’s give us around 68 million to work with this year and 61 next year plus we’d have an additional 1st/2nd in the draft we got from Tyreek. Only plausible way I see we trade Tyreek since we won’t save anything pre june 1st but the restructures allow us to make that possible.

Just like QB1….. I’ll get on his ass for missing games but I will never disrespect the person. Hes a tremendous leader. Every time I attend camp, even if he’s sitting out, he spends so much time with the young OL teaching technique.

If he wants to coach when he’s done playing I hope he stays on as an assistant.
