Did Terron Armstead dare to compare Tua to Brees?

What, he thinks him actually working with both up close gives him better knowledge of how good Tua is, or can be, better judgement then the Tua haters club's keen eye for talent, and gut feelings?

I can feel the haters club coming... 😮
What's he supposed to say, Tua sucks? You don't need to be an NFL offensive linemen to be able to see that Tua is nowhere near as good as Drew Brees

Re-read #3 of my last post. Wins are team accomplishments.

Last season he had a 128 and 114 against the Bills and Packers. In Buffalo with 50 F weather and in Green Bay with 20-something degree weather.

If being smarter than you and objective makes me a ā€œTua homerā€ so be it.
You are what your record says you are and he has way more losses than wins against winning teams. He can’t rise up to the occasion in those games. A perfect example of that was the season finale at home in primetime against the Bills in 2023 with the division title on the line. He was dogshit in that game when the defense gave them a chance to win. But Tua and the offense couldn’t deliver. They scored a whopping 14 points.

He really only needs to do better about #1.

#2 he’s done well.

#3 is a team accomplishment.

I was for picking Tua in draft regardless of hip, against Watson trade, pay Tua the market for his extension, and wear a Tua white jersey on Sundays.

#3 is a team accomplishment but even Tua has recognized it’s on him as the franchise player to do that. Credit to him for owning that responsibility too which makes me support him even more. Get it done!

ā€œTagovailoa remarked that "heavy is the crown" when it comes to the responsibility that comes with his new contract and noted that "we haven't won the games that we wanted to win" when asked about what he wants to accomplish next.

"I'm the highest-paid employee in this office," Tagovailoa said. "I got to get my whatever together. I got to get that right and get our guys moving in the direction that we need to go to be able to do those things."

Oh, really?

Because you’ll be negative?

He has been a little cranky since tannehill left

This thread is about Tua, Chubb, and Phillips staying healthy. Can we please not turn this into yet another Tua pissing match? It's tiresome.

There’s no reason to have a pissing match. He’s going to get hurt again or underwhelm spectacularly in critical games and situations. And then retire due to concussions/hips or be relegated to a journeyman backup if he’s lucky enough to stay healthy.

After hearing Zach Wilson talk about the Miami passing game, timing and trusting wrs to be where they should be when they should be there... how do we know some of those so called "Tua struggling vs good teams" games wasn't really the wrs struggling to either read the defenses correctly at times, being disrupted or just being late or early on some routes? Sounds like it's really not that hard for a qb to do everthing he's suppose to and get rid of the ball and have outsiders look at the play and say why did he he do that or it was a bad throw, while the fact is the throw was good the wr wasn't there or the timing off.
See this takes great, and something I have said.. the whole tua sucks in the cold, cannot beat winning teams.. its not a simple HE thing.

its simple cold weather slows a humans metabolism, makes them slower... and better teams are usually there cause of top 10 or sometimes top 5 dl's and olines.. look at all the consistent playoff appearance teams defenses and olines, bills/chiefs (minus last year) lions eagles ravens always always good in the trenchs..so whats this mean, it means they slow recievers down at the line, or block running routes slowing the wr.. at the same time there pressuring tua faster, so tua has less time to throw in situations where wr arent gettin as much separation anyways.. this equals trouble

in big games and cold games its more physical, hell its why most cold teams have strong run games.. big games are won and lost in the trenches, and if your playin offensive mainly passing based, run around pure timing these facts are gonna make it a tough ask.

sure in some big games tua coulda done better for sure. a few loses are completely on him.. but its not this whole evry big game, every cold game narrative people wanna harp on bout. Reason showed tuas stats in big games, hell his performance against the bills last year in buffalo was one of top 3 best ever offensive performances against a mcdermote defense since he has been in buffalo.

the def in that game was one of the worst performances .. again I am not sayin Tua is without blame.. for sure he is at times, but its no where nearrrr the level people wanna state.. hell 2023 i could point to key mistakes in every game that cost us the game and maybe one of them was on tua

Ok so if tua chubb and Jp stay healthy we are Super Bowl win locks.

I’ll remember that.

When we don’t even win our division.
Sure I'll just listen to you and ignore a guy that actually played this game at a high level. Suuureeeee.

also, the Dolphins have had trouble winning cold weather games since before Tua was born
