Here is a look at the passing attack of the Texans, specifically David Carr.

Carr: 59 completions 82 attempts 72.0% 635 yards 7.7 ypc 6 TD 1INT

That makes for a 113.6 passer rating which along with the 72% completion percentage lead the league. Yet they are 0-3. How does that happen for all of you people that believe QB play is so important and absolutely vital to a team winning?

The fact that they are 32nd in the league in points allowed is probably a big reason for that 0-3 record. So we should be able to put up some points. And from the looks of it, we might have to because our secondary is not good and Carr is playing very well. And Moulds always does well against the Fins with 11TDs in 20 games. If Kerry Collins can make big plays against our secondary, I am willing to bet Carr can also. I am not saying they will pass all over us, or win the game, or anything like that. But our secondary better play well cause it looks like the Texans can put the ball in the air.

Don`t forget the Texans best wideout is Andre Johnson...not Eric Moulds. The guy is a very underrated and good wide receiver.

yes Car, Moulds, and Johnson are havung good seasons so far but I still think we can handle them.

The thing is, there are many good passing teams, rushing teams and defensive teams. Sure they are concens, but to play and Win in the NFL, you must deal with them and win games. So, we need to go out and Win......period! If we need to be concerned on every team that has some talent and wonder if we are in trouble every game, then we are not a good team.

WHAT?? I see it as just the opposite. This is the NFL, if you are NOT concerned with every opponent is when your in trouble. Any given Sunday any team can beat you so you had better respect every team you play or you are gonna consistantly lose to teams with less talent. Heck yeah we had better be concerned with the Texans, we can't afford to lose to this team. This is this years first MUST win game for us if we are gonna make a playoff run. With their defense playing as bad as it has for the last few weeks we need to play them to hopefully get our offense on track a little. Hopefully this isn't the game where there defenese gets on track. We need some confidence before playing the pats.

The houston passing game worries me. We've got to get some pressure on Carr I hope we see some more things in Capers bag of tricks this week. If Charlie Batch can light up our secondary it would be foolish to think Carr won't make some big plays too.

I'm concerned. We need to show no respect for the running game and concentrate strictly on the passing attack. We need to get after Carr, the piss poor blitzing we all all used to as of late will kill us. When we blitz we have to either get there or at least get pressure. Carr is going to make plays just like Collins did. We can't get too upset. I think fans forget every player on an NFL field is a professional and is capable of making plays against any other team in the NFL. You're team just has to make more. If the offense can't get rolling in Houston, be worried.

Aren't they currently a 1 dimensional team that can't really run the ball. That could explain why they are passing so much. Andre Johnson is a underappreciated receiver. I think hes been to 2 probowls in 3yrs right?

You guys remember those overthrown and underthrown passes that K Collins was launching against our secondary. Well that wont happen with Carr. Our secondary must step up big time against the titans. Because we wont be getting freebies 3 and out against thier passing game. Also not mention our front 3-4 must have better pressure against this team or else our secondary is toast. I hope that they have fine tuned our blitz package because in all honestly it is pathetic I dont understand how 5-7 guys gets all plugged up in the middle by 5 offensive lineman. I am baffled.

Those missed passes Collins had last week was one of the reasons I have cause for concern. There was at least three passes that he left out there that could have been big plays. And I agree that our blitzing is about as ineffective as it possibly can be. I don't think we have sniffed the QB on any one of them the whole year. Those two things were enough cause for concern for me. Add to that Carr's performance so far this year. The defense needs to step up.

I believe these numbers are like this because they are playing from behind for the better part of the game. Plus they have no running game. Let's just see what happens, I for one cannot wait for this Sunday.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 Pro Bowl, back when they were 7-9.

The Houston passing game is so good because they fall behind so early and have to pass to catch up, the corners are playing off the WR's so they dont get beat deep and give up quick points so they can make Houston drive and run some clock.

Carr is becoming very good, but there are other reasons for the passing success too

Concerned and respect are 2 different things. My point is, the original poster makes it sound like every time we play a team that has an outstanding player or X and O, we are suddenly in deep doo-doo. Great teams dont care who they play, they just outplay them and deal with what they up against! JUST DO IT!!!!!
