Hey guys....I am a huge draftnik guy....and these are two players I was very high on when they came out of school.

Just wondering what the word is on how they are looking in camp...

Thanks for the quick reply.....if you get the chance...post any and all links to articles talking about either of them.

I was pimping Shirdonya Mitchell before anyone ever heard of him....When I was talking him up on the Steeler boards...I called him Ike Taylor 2.0.....

I really want to see him do well.

As for Teyo Johnson....I think the Raiders screwed him up...by not knowing what to do with a TWEENER WR/TE......I really hope he gets his career back on track as well.

I'm interesting in knowing how Shirdonya Mitchell has looked too?

From everything that I've read, it seems like injuries = his only setback.

your right about johnson. he has alot of talent that I think saban will use to benefit both him and the team. This is where the coaching staff can help the actual performance of the player and team. Hes a little to weak to block efficiently, but is a great pass catching TE. maybe he will be used on 3rd downs alot or something as a wideout? he will be one to watch.

I think I saw that Mitchell has missed at least one practice with knee pain. He isn't a hundred percent. He said that himself not too long ago on a televised interview.

Well, I see some are down on Mitchell after PS G1....but how did Teyo look?

He had a critical mistake in the game where we were barely in field goal range...he jumped offsides and we had to punt. Other than that I really didn't hear his name mentioned.
 
Wow. I am surprsied at all the compliments about these two players. None of you must have watched the game last night.

During the game, I was saying to myself, "Who the hell is #22 and #47? They keep screwing up." Mitchell was getting abused in the secondary. They were picking on him it seemed. Johnson did a horrible job blocking and missed an easy reception.

These guys are young. So I guess you give them some slack. But if they both want to make the team, especially Johnson at TE, they will have to play much better from here out.

Shirdonya Mitchell had a poor game last night in which he fell down a lot and allowed the Jags to convert on a few 3rd and longs.
