Post game interview with JT,

(On his reaction when he saw Channing Crowder's INT) - "Surprised he caught it. I see Channing at practice every day, the lord blessed him with a lot of things, [but] a good set of hands was not one of them. They worked today. I was messing with him before the game. In pregame warm-ups, I catch a lot of passes and he was laughing at me for doing it. I said 'this is why I always make plays around the ball, because I work on it. Unlike you, you always drop everything'. He ended the game with a catch, so he got the last laugh."

It doesn't bother me that Crowder doesn't have great hands, few ILB do. But that fact that JT at 30+ is still working on it and Channing couldn't care less proves he is a lazy snitch. He had a chance to make a play on the ball during NE previous drive, (and in the past 4-5 years) and he dropped it. Now we know why.

Crowder should have walked right over to Wake and handed him the game ball, Cam deserved it.
 
Crowder has no merit, the ball simply went into his hands

People are trying to break this down into an individual game. Yeah, Crowder is an idiot. Yeah, Crowder is lazy. Yeah, Crowder is worthless for the most part. But Crowder made a play yesterday. If Crowder doesn't catch that ball Tom brady and the Patriots get another shot to break our heart. Great job by Wake to get some pressure on Brady. Great job by Crowder being in the right spot at the right time and sealing it up.

But great job by the MIAMI DOLPHINS because every Sunday you come out and you either win as a team or you lose as a team and it goes no further than that. That team came to play yesterday and they easily could have been demoralized and quit. That team rallied and made the best of a bad situation getting worse and found a way to get themselves back in it.
 
What an absolutely useless post. Fact is, Crowder made the play he was supposed to make. Nothing more, nothing less.
You have decided to make assumptions about his work ethic based on one quote from JT.
The obvious fact that you don't care for him as a player doesn't entitle you to fabricate an issue that doesn't exist.
 
If you watch that play over and over again, crowders "reaction" to the catch was almost like "wtf". It appeared the ball was just stuck in his hands before he even knew it was there.
 
wow...some people are NEVER F***ing satisfied..oh well.. although Wake got the pressure on the QB Crowder did CATCH the ball, whether it was in his hand, or it landed 4 feet from him and he had to dive to catch it, he STILL CAUGHT IT. Regardless it was a great play. Thank God we pulled it off. GO DOLPHINS!!!

Translation - I hate Crowder so much I can't even give him credit when makes a play that I keep telling everyone he never makes.
 
I like how Crowder has become the most hated player on these boards now. I personally like Crowder. While hes not a flashy playmaker, do people not notice how we get run on up and down the field w/o him? Not saying hes amazing, but he is pretty solid in run support.

Are you even watching the same games? He is horrible in run support because he never takes the right gap to the ball carrier and often times puts himself out of plays. He needs a true talented MLB (not only in physical skills because crowder has those but mentally) so we can hide channings weaknesses.

Crowder made a good play yesterday, but until he shows up week in and week out (don't make me out to just hate on crowder because I feel the same about Joey Porter) he is going to be on my **** list. One week means NOTHING.

Then why has our run D been much softer when Crowder missed games past 2 years?
 
Crowder saved our a**es yesterday. How often do you see that ball get dropped by one of our defenders in that spot? I don't care if the ball willed its way into getting stuck in the guy's facemask like Stonehands in Necessary Roughness.

Totally agree with you. Also, he was smart enough to get down after making the catch and not risk a fumble trying to return it.....
