Thank You Bill Lazor

Sherman is at home muttering to himself that he didn't know WR's could go in motion.

Just a little FYI, according to ESPN, the Dolphins only ran 16 plays that involved motion at the snap in 2013. Just think about that for a moment...16 motion plays in 16 games. Talk about making it easy for defenses.

If he did Pat's would have had ample time to come back.

I think there was a state out there that said Mike Wallace stayed on one side of the field something like 80 plus percent of the time.

I know some don't like people attacking the play calling but it is unbelievable how vanilla our offense was under Sherman last year.

I want to see the up-tempo that was promised. It honestly looks to me like the players are still trying to get comfortable in the offense and that they are holding back on the tempo.

I think that is actually a good thing. There is room for improvement. There is some reason to expect that we will get better...

I like his attitude, the announcers said he doesnt have a style Lazor said we are going to call plays to score points if we can run we will run if we can pass we will pass. That has to make it hard for opposing defenses knowing there is a sharp minded guy who will simply go with what is working. There is no way to prepare for that. If the Wrs are getting open and RT is throwing it well then you will get that all day but if we can run for 190 and mix in stuff we go with that. D coordinators just lost more sleep come Dolphins week.

This team was reeling off a lot of up tempo in stretches when they were behind, and once they got a lead they smartly went away from it. They didn't start out the gate like that, but our first few drives were disjointed due to turnovers and the short field on the first TD.

It seems he takes after his mentor

If we keep this up, we'll be able to compete with the upper echelon AFC teams later in the year (translation, playoffs).

The downside is if this offense continues to get better, Bill Lazor will be a head coach elsewhere next season.
