For passing on Tannehill in the draft, thank you for your ineptitude and lack for eye for talent, to Snyder thank you for your man crush on RG3, thank you for ignoring a two time superbowl winning coach that wanted Ryan and trading all those draft picks for RG3, Snyder you’re a genius.

Again on behalf of some Dolphins fans thank you for this gift, we’ll never forget.

It especially hurts the Browns who not only passed on Tannehill but took Trent Richardson who looks like he was a bust so they traded him and took Weeden at the top of the 1st after trading back in. That's almost as bad as the Redskins trading umpteen million picks for a QB who's got more attitude than 4 diva receivers put together.

... and thanks Ireland for jumping in when you did because from a bunch of reports, it also looks like both Seattle and KC were waiting in the wings to grab him too.

I remember cursing them for not taking Michael Floyd...guess I was wrong, I think I figured that out when he won the starting job last year.

I don't think Shanahan was completely against the RGIII draft selection. Dan Snyder gave him complete control and if he didn't want him, they wouldn't have drafted him. He probably liked Ryan, but thought RGIII was a better selection (like everyone else in the world).

And thank you Lauren for wearing that dress that night and setting the tone for greatness.

They are still looking for a QB. They remind me of Ireland circa 2011.

Yes x 1,000. Thank goodness the incompetent and arrogant Snyder got his way instead of Shanahan. If it were up to Shanahan, Tannehill would be in Washington right now sitting pretty as the best QB in the NFC East and having locked up that division by now. As it is, they're stuck with Snyder's boy RG3-11 and assuring themselves of a top 3 draft pick in the spring. Oh wait.....they don't have that pick because they traded away the farm for RG3-11! Mwahahahahahaha!!!

Whats RG3-11?

RG3rd and 11 maybe?

Don't be unkind re RGIII. He's world class athletic talent with Kardashian sized appetite for attention (RG me me me) and he's the property of the Redskins

There can be plenty of threads made about players we've passed on so it'd seem pretty irresponsible to bring it up but instead that's what makes this one that much sweeter! Although this is the first QB we've taken in like 100 years so the ratio is incredible

Lets not play dumb here.

Snyder took RGIII because of the media circus surrounding the guy. He was going to sell tickets, sell jerseys, creat hype for the team. Something Tannehill did not.

Yes people woke up a little bit when Tannehill was drafted, but everyone and their mother turned Redskins fan after RGIII was drafter.

I do agree though, that RGIII was the product of a system and he cannot carry a team on his own. To add to that, RGIII needs to recognize he is no longer the best athlete on a team or the field. This is not college, you dont tuck and run and become the hero every play, every game.

Although I feel miami made the right choice drafting RT, I'm not gonna come out and say RG3 is a bust. I truly feel like they the players quit on that coaching staff and it's difficult to dig yourself out when the coach has an obvious agenda. They were setup to fail this year from the jump. Does Griffin have an attitude problem? Absolutely. Which is concerning based on the position he plays. But from this point it wouldn't be fair to say he's a bust.
