--for not picking up LeGarrette Blount in the off-season. I was one to think that he could have helped our team this year as a big power back. After watching the game last night and seeing that he left the field early because of a lack of playing time, I am very happy that Dennis didn’t sign him, nor bring him in for a workout this offseason. I was listening to Sirius NFL Network (so no link) on my way to work this morning and they were saying that he had issues in Tampa, in New England, and now in Pittsburg. I don’t want nor do I think we need any more distractions and for that I Thank You Dennis Hickey.

I wasn't a fan of Blount either. He also got in trouble with Bell for marijuana. But to be fair, Moreno played in about a game whereas Blount would at least be contributing right now, unless of course he gets injured too. There were some that wanted Gerhart too but it looks like Baltimore was the winner of the free agent running backs with Forsett. It's always easy to look back, but it'shard to determine who would have been successful in Miami. Maybe all of them could have been or maybe not.

Lets also thank him for not bringing in Toby Gerhart like many here wanted

No not me, I wanted him all along. We'll be crapping on the Patsies right now if we signed him. Players want to play, I don't see anything wrong in that. as for other stuff, well I don't know.

Players want to play....players that leave the field, however, are quitters. He quit on his teammates, he quit on his coaches and he quit on the fans. I don't want quitters.

Sounds like Blount has been nothing but a pain in the rear for Pittsburgh.

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that RB LeGarrette Blount has been an internal problem for the Steelers for at least a month.
Sources tell Bouchette that Blount has been dragging down breakout RB Le’Veon Bell during this time.
Blount left the field and headed to the locker room before Monday night’s game had concluded after he didn’t receive a single carry against the Titans. One Steelers player said that they should have left Blount in Tennessee last night.
Blount, 27, signed a two-year, $3.85 million contract with the Steelers back in March. He’ll make a base salary of $900,000 this season and another $2 million next year.
However, Pittsburgh could free up $2 million by releasing him next year, according to OverTheCap.com’s calculator.

If I was Pittsburgh I would suspend him for behavior detrimental to the team. Unfortunately the team can only suspend him for a max 4 games. So maybe wait till after game 12 for them.

So Blount walked off the field because Bell was going full beast mode and the Steelers kept him in the game?

I also wanted Blount in the off-season, thought he would be a better compliment to Miller, but it's very obvious the guy has attitude issues (As they said on Mike and Mike), and not getting him was by far the right move.

I love the way Miller is starting to run as our premier back, find a powerback that can be success on 3rd & short, or inside the opponent 5, and we will be more then fine.

Dolphins should sign Ben Tate. Was just put on waivers.

I don't remember my stance on Blount this off season which means I must have been meh......

I was a Moreno supporter for sure but I just don't see him back here next year, draft a back and move on. Miller and fill in the blank.
