I just wanted to send out a thank you to all that do their "followups" or "my game views". etc. etc. I gotta say since I live in NJ(central) I do not get to see my Dolphins unless they play the J-E-T-S. Until, I get out of my house and can buy the NFL PKG. I am stuck on FinHeaven.com like you wouldnt believe. I alway "lurk", rarely post.

Hey Cover - where do you live? You should join us at the Sportz Bar.
 
Half an hour drive for you dude. Huge Dolphin fan bar. Home of the Dolphins in NE NJ. Tons of fellow fins fans. Teal colored shots after a win. Dolphin fight song. Fun, fun, fun. You should join us.
 
hey man, where is this bar and whats the name?
does it get too crowded that you cant see the screen? whats the setup like...
plasmas, little tvs all over, plasmas all over???

The place is great, but it does get packed... The Miami game is always on the largest of the big screens (a 10x10 wall projector) the bar has another 6 (I think) big screens, and probably 40 'small' (27") TVs around the ceiling. I'd reccomend getting there early for gametime on Sundays. "Miami Mike" usually starts letting dolphans in early, around 11:30.

If you want to check it out, we'll be there watching the game on Thursday night, and the crowd won't be as bad as on Sundays, where it's definately Standing Room Only.

But you can always see the big screen, as well as watch lot of other games going on. Main volume at the bar is always set to the Dolphins game. I'd say there are between 30-60 Dolphins Fans there each week.

The bar is on Route 10 West in East Hanover, NJ, at the Ramada Inn.

It's the 10 West Bistro and Sportz Bar - located in the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in East Hanover.

Yes it has plasmas and little tv's all over the place - but the Dolphin fans have their own room with a huge projection tv screen. So nothing gets in the way of watching our games.

As I said the manager is "Miami" Mike, and as long as you get there early enough, you'll get a seat in "our" room. We have Olinda Mare's dad there all the time - he was there this year for the draft party we had.

Website is www.ramadaeasthanover.com and click on the Sportz Bar/NFL Ticket link. You'll love it there. No other way to watch Dolphin games in my opinion. I won't watch them at home because my husband hates football and there's no-one to cheer with me.
