Thank you Grier & Mcd for biggest collapse in Phins history

Please!! Go back and read the posts on Flores, he was despised!! McDaniel was on top of the world at 8-3, now he's a martyr for his lack of defensive play calling and what? Keeping the team together? The team atmosphere was at an all time high weeks ago. LOSING kills team morale and spirit not coaches. Injuries killed this season, not philosophy. No X-man no Byron Jones, no winning!!! No O-Line, not winning!!!!! Nothing McDaniel can do about it. Build depth, which is on Grier, McDaniel can only coach who is available to play...............And we have some doozies!!!!!

Not to get political but it looked good in the eyes of the media to hire a biracial coach after the whole Flores fiasco. Not saying it’s the primary reason McDaniel got hired but it could have potentially contributed to why we passed on a coach with a pedigree like DP
Doubtful. Grier is a minority. The racial part of the Flores fiasco had to do with the hiring practice in the NFL with the Rooney Rule, not that Flores was fired because he was black. Plus, if that was truly a consideration in hiring McDaniel, you'd think they would have hired a guy who doesn't have to tell you he's biracial to know he's biracial. Again, shouldn't be a factor in anyone's decision making to begin with.

As far as passing on DP, I'd say it is more likely a coach with the pedigree of DP saw the $hitshow that went on with the Dolphins during the Flores regime, saw no changes were made at the GM position, and said "no thanks".

What if we rehire Flores? We leave McDaniel in charge first half of the season then shift to Flores second half. We let Flores replace Boyer as well. We could be unstoppable.
As long as the Dolphins are playing backup QB’s or rookie QB’s over the second half of the season, Flores is useless. The 2021 Dolphin defense was terrible in the first half of the season and only played better once they were able to play again backup QB’s or rookie QB’s over the the second half of the 2021 season.

Flores also didn’t have to contend with an over the hill Howard and a secondary that was without three of their best players for the majority of the season.

Flores was overrated as a defensive coach and he was never able to get his teams ready to play against the better teams on their schedule. The Bills owned the Dolphins while Flores was the head coach.

and it may be the same reason Grier doesn't get canned as he is in a very small group of minority GM's and the NFL is making even a bigger push for more. What happened to the best candidate. Either way we are cursed.

Leadership starts at the top. Unfortunately our top 3 people all suck from Ross to Grier to McFake

The Bradley Chubb trade made a massive difference.........sadly not the one we were looking for!

this is not the biggest colapse in dolphins history
shula was 9-2 and lost the last 5 and missed the playoffs

was building a roster to contend, are nowhere near done, won 8 out of the first 13 games, then the schedule turned tougher and injuries piled up.

early on it looked like we were way ahead of schedule, but we're probably right about on schedule.

look for us next year and the year after (if Tua is healthy).

we are even worse than our final record will be as we had no reason to have won that Ravens game and maybe even the first Bills game. What appeared to be steps forward wound up steps backwards. We tried our new "wildcat" Quick timing strikes as Tua's only quality, but when teams take that away, he's as bad as we thought and still made of glass like he was at bama.
Tua finished with 26 td and 8 picks.. grow up
