Because of Houck's genius, gus has yet to be sacked. I feel that's a tremendous upgrade and cause for a message of appreciation. Not to jinx the o-line. So far, great job. :) :) :) :) ;)

Great point... Under his system the O-Line has made vast improvements. I agree with you... So far they have been doing a great job..:)

incorrect. Espn has it that we have given up 2 sacks. Which is tied for the second in the league... So Thankyou Houck!!!!

Amazing what coaching will do.

Our line is much improved but wasn't he was sacked twice at the Jets?

There is no real comparison between the line this year vs last year. This years line is the "SWAN" compared to the ugly ducklings we had last year. Thanks Fox network.. errr I mean Houck!

I thought we've been sacked about 4 times this season... although we gave up none Vs. Carolina.

It's alot better than getting sacked 5 times a game!

Look what happens when expectations are low, and results are adequate= We are pleased!!!

No kidding -- we can actually run an NFL offense now.

I agree.
It's not like we are lining up a bunch of all pro's out there either!

I've heard comments from many analysts that with the parity in the NFL that good position coaches are the most important FA's for a team's success. I believe that to be the truth, especially after seeing how this team has turned it's level of play around.

I know Abraham got him atleast once. But I attended Sunday's game and I heard Julius Peppers name called once and it was for a tackle on R.Brown. Mike Rucker wasn't announced once. I thought that was unbelievable against two pro-bowl DEs. Our tackles are playing great pass-blocking with solid help from our #2 overall pick picking up the blitzers. We have a bye week to work on our running game and to study Buffalo's defense minus Takeo ofcourse.
