Jones is the catalyst of this defense in my eyes. His energy is contagious and I was so glad that Ross kept his word and payed him his due. Hard to say he hasn't put the team on his back the last two games. I cannot say thank you enough for his dedication and heart. If he was a Patriot, the media would ride his jock, but since he's a Fin, he's overlooked. Gotta give the man the respect he deserves around here. Fins Up Reshad!!!!!!
 
Well said!! When I saw the fins had the ball all of a sudden on gamecenter i thought it might be him. Playmakers making plays....seems to happen at timely moments on good teams.

But Jones deserves credit, most players couldn't have come up with that football. Some guys just have an unusual knack for getting a loose football that pops free in the corner of their eyes, and Reshad Jones is one of those guys.

Tank is the best corner on this team now, that's with Howard playing pretty dang good today..
 
Bobby McCain is playing better. How many years left on his contract? I predict he will play well down the stretch through the end of his contract and then after we've developed him, we let him walk.

Three things.

I live in Georgia too and it is bitter sweet we beat Atlanta. TheFalcon and Bulldog fans are smug and have no class. They talk **** but not in a friendly way. They think they are better than everybody even though Dolphins have two super bowls , a perfect season and used to be the most winning team in history. Not sure what they are ranked anymore. Also the Canes have 5 championships compared to thier two and ours are more recent. So it's good to have bragging rights for a year. Even though they usually bring up thier one good moment in history and rub your nose in that somehow.

Second reshad along with Suh they are the rock of our defense. It makes it so much better a Georgia guy closed that game for us. I know personally that makes it a little harder for these Georgia fans. I remember wanting to draft him way back when and knew he was gonna be special when nobody else saw anything in him. I always saw him making plays for Georgia and figured it would translate to the NFL.

Third. Timmons looks really good. He's always around the ball making plays. Almost had two ints today. We need to lock him up. I'm not sure what his current contract is. I forgive him for what he did if he keeps playing like he is. As soon as he came back our d has looked completely different.
 
Suh, ajayi, and reshad are the 3 best players on our team. Landry always plays with heart despite having to put up with smokin bowls jay. Timmons is awesome, I knew he would be a great pickup for this d and was exactly what we needed, a veteran leader with agressiveness and toughness in the middle of this d when our backers were devastated, he came at the perfect time. I hope we can keep him for 5 years until his body starts to give out, can't have enough guys like him on your team. Timmons will become one of the faces of this team in the future along with those mentioned.

We just need a few more replacements at guard with asiata and davis, te, and at slot corner, find somebody to replace mccain. If TJ works out this could be a nasty elite defense with those replacements, not to mention lippett is coming back next year as our 3rd corner and of course Thill.

If gase gets his crap together, this could be a dominant team for a long time, but unfortunately if he doesn't bad coaching can really hold down good teams because coaching, aggressiveness and decisions matter so much in the NFL, far more than any other sport.

Here's hoping he does and we can get back to our glory days of being dominant year in and year out, we've definitely waited far too long for that to return.
