Thank you Mr. Ross for not allowing a coach to bully you into conceding full power of this franchise during negotiations.
I applaud your decision today.:hclap:

Now if you would only get your head out of your behind and bring in a real GM you will win back your fanbase.

I actually agree. I wanted Fisher pretty bad. My dad was an Oiler/Titan fan when I was little and he loves Fisher, but I started having mixed feelings when all of the waiting started. Ross is a guy that would throw a ton of money at a guy he wants in order to get him. If the reports are right, Ross never did that. He didn't feel Fisher was the right guy after their interview. He didn't cave in to demands. I don't really get the whole Peterson thing and why he was present at the interview with Fisher and not Ireland if Ross is so confident in him, but for the first time ever, I might actually have a little respect for the guy. If he realizes that Billick is the right fit and puts the team first and can get over his issues with Billick, I will definitely see him in a different light.

He might be right that Fisher did not deserve to have full control but he is dead wrong for even keeping Ireland as the GM of this team.

Think about this, Ireland not only has personally kept this team in the gutter by constantly selecting lineman over QB during his tenure but he is also most likely the reason why no high profile Head Coach would want to work here. Guys come on, WTF is Ross thinking?

Personally I'm glad were not looking at Billick - no more retreads! Billick was supposed to be an offensive genius but the Ravens won the Super Bowl because of their nasty DEFENSE.
