He might not even be a Fin next year but he goes out of his way trying to make Henne and the Fins be better by studying film of the following week's opponent and staying late with Henne. I never liked the guy when he was a Jet but I have learned to respect him as a Fin.

Henne's greatest gift coming into the NFL was getting a veteran like Penny to show him the ropes. There aren't too many if any QB'S in this leage that would do what penny is doing.

Hell, if the QB is too good (like Favre) the young guy might not get any help (Like Rodgers) and that is a shame because there are too few good knowledgeable QBs around.

That's the difference in a guy like Favre and a guy like Penny:

Penny is probably one of the best teamates / people that you will find in the NFL.

its a pipe dream but I want penny on the team in some form next year. I'd love to see him start coaching.
