I just wanted to wish Timbo the best of luck in the future. Thanks Tim for all the years of dedicated service. You were a big part of why our D-Line was so good for so many years. It's criminal that your career is cut short by a bad back because I know you would have been a solid part of our defense for several more years had this not happened. Thanks again Tim and you will be missed.
 
I would also like to say a big Thank You myself. You had a great career and thanks for the memories.
 
This line here from the Herald shows how great Tim really was..

Former Dolphins defensive line coach Clarence Brooks once was watching film of Bowens taking on a double-team. Bowens was showing poor technique on the play, with one foot on the ground. However, even when the second offensive lineman hit Bowens while Bowens was standing on one foot, Bowens didn't move backward.

Rather, Bowens grabbed the lineman with one hand to the chest and didn't let him move on for another block.

'You can't teach stuff like that. You just turn and say, `Great play, Tim,' '' Brooks said.

I'm really going to miss big ol' Tim
 
Big Tim is the man. I've watched him play more than I've watched any other athlete!!
He is forever an All-time Phin. Someone who can stay with one team and maintain a high level of play for more than 10 years is a rare find these days. I'm sure we'll still see plenty of him around Dolphins Stadium.

I've never had to worry about our DT position because of him... now I hope we can get our hands another DT that can plug the gap for 10 years... Manny Wright, anyone?
 
Thanks Timbo, you had a good career, could have been a great one if you would have had the dedication to work out a little more, you could have been an all-timer I think.....but, the hall of fame is overrated anyway.
 
Last of Shula's guys gone...thanks Tim for being the rock in the middle and making Zach, Jason, and the rest of the front 7 a dominant force for many years. You are part of a dying breed: unselfish players who make the players around you better.
 
Thanks Timbo....you were a class act all ther way and one hell of a phin player.
 
THANKS TIMBO!! Have a great and happy retirement. You earned it big man!

good point... TimBo made ZT look great.

I kno Zach is great, but TimBo really really helped him.
 
Yeah, he was a great Fin. Last reminder of the Shula days, he will be missed!

Totally agree Timbo made all of the Dolphins LB"s better for many years...
