Thank You Timbo

I just wanted to wish Timbo the best of luck in the future. Thanks Tim for all the years of dedicated service. You were a big part of why our D-Line was so good for so many years. It's criminal that your career is cut short by a bad back because I know you would have been a solid part of our defense for several more years had this not happened. Thanks again Tim and you will be missed.

I agree, Timbo was a force, and he will be sorely missed. To show what kind of a player Bowens was, all you have to do is remember all the games (especially playoffs) where we had Gardener without Timbo, compared to the games Gardener was out, with Tim in. Teams had a tough time running against Miami because of a few pieces, but one of the biggest was Tim Bowens.

Good Luck Tim

Best of luck to the last member of the Shula era Timbo.

Good luck Timbo i miss u and i hope u will coach the Dolphin's Defensive line 1 day id like that and u can win a bowl with Miami then

Bowens was the man, as mentioned, a guy who always was about the team concept....very rare in today's professional sports. Being from Boston, kind of ironic that Cam Neely was announced into the hockey hall of fame the same week.

Two guys, all-pro, that had their careers cut short by various injuries. But they both gave it their all.

My distinct memory of TBo was when he literally came inches away from stealing two or three handoffs from Boomer in a Jet game (if I am not mistaken it was the "fake spike" game).

Man, did he bring it.

Thanks Tim.

Thanx Timbo,... u'll def. be missed...
the last of the shula era is gone

thanx for the memories, and i rais e a glass to ya :beerbang:
