I wanted to thank all the veterans and those still serving in the military. I know there are many that come to this site.. THANK YOU for your service. While I never served, the sacrifice and dedication you have given to this country gives me chills...just awesome.

I would also encourage people if they have a chance to give a donation to veterans service if they can between now and the holidays. I have linked to two great organizations.

Even though you might not think it is much, few dollars from a lot of Americans can go a long way. The PVA is a group that I try to give money to around Veterans' Day and Christmas. They do great work. It is important that our nation not only thinks of our vets today, but through the entire year.

Thanks to all that have and continue to serve, protect, and fight for our freedoms. Without you guys there is no NFL, Miami Dolphins, Finheaven or any other freedoms we often take for granted. Keep up the good work guys. God Bless and salute! RIP Gramps and thanks for your service in Korea.

Your welcome and thank you for your support. 20 years and 6 days of service (don't laugh at the six days....they were important...lol). Let's also remember the families of the veterans, because without their love and support it make what we as veterans do/did possible. Happy belated Birthday to my brothers in the Corps....238 years of bad assery and more to come. Semper Fi.

Thank You to all the Military Veterans of the Past, Present and the Future for Serving Our Country. Without your services we wouldn't be The United States of America!!! You've put you're lives on the line each and every day to protect the Freedoms of our great Nation and allow it's people to live without fear. Someone once told me, "War is Hell, and from within the Gates of Hell and out from under it's ashes, God gave us Life." To my Dad, who was a Veteran of the Korean War, Thank You for sharing all those War stories with me as a child. They've had a profound meaning to me as I grew up into the man I am today. I love you and miss you and know your watching over me. "God Bless", The USA.!!!!
 
It's sometime easy to go on with daily life and forget about the men and women serving this country all over the world. Thank you veterans for the sacrifices you make daily.

Id gladly cut my check to the government every year to support you guys instead of currently begrudgingly cutting my check to support lazy ungrateful people living off the government. Cutting the check is the easy part- your service is not. Appreciate every minute of what you did and what current service men and women do!
 
remembrance day today...on the 11th hr, of the 11th day of the 11th month.

Am wearing my poppy in remembrance today..not sure if that happens in the States.
