With the 2nd rounder Philly took WR Reggie Brown and with the 3rd St. Louis got FS OJ Atogwe.
 
And we got Feeley (who although overpaid someone at QB was sorely needed as Fiedler just wasn't cutting it anymore...a gamble that didn't pay off). The other 3rd? We traded 2 days before the season started for Gordon because we had no solid RB. Gordon....got injured and couldn't live up to they hype. Both were trades we sorely needed at the time although neither gamble paid off. Such is life.

But you could have gotten Feeley for a 4th rounder and Gordon for a 5th....That's the point...We overpaid....Which should be obvious given the fact that you couldn't get a 7th rounder for either of them now...The only thing left to do now is to cut Feeley's sorry a*s next.

We did overpay, but how do you know what we could have gotten?
 
Not "you" but "we" I think. We may have been able to. But....with as much pressure as DW and the Phins as an organization were under....they, the FO, wanted to make sure they did all they could to put us in a position to win. Imagine if Gordon didn't get hurt and played the year great? Or if Feely actually cut down his mental mistakes? There wouldn't be any talk of overpaying. It was a gamble that didn't work. I agree that we overpaid for both of them...but it wasn't my call and it's easy to do judge as a fan. btw....i like the sig....my wife watched the cheerleader reality show sometimes and that cheerleaders 'da bomb :)
 
Lets not forget finfans that Wanny & Speillman(matbe not as much) where trying very hard to land Mark Brunnell QB from Jacksonville.

Even that would have blown up in their face, guess the only player that we herd they tried to trade for that may have worked out was Matt Hassellback.

I honestly dont think any qb would have worked in Wannys scheme he was/is
a coach that manages to not lose rather the coach to simply win!! which means being a risk taker.
