When was the last time a team had to play on 3 major US Holidays? Ever??
I'm surprised that the NFL doesn't make the Fins draft on Easter and then start TC on the 4th of July. :shakeno:

In other news (and completely off-topic). I was adding the Dolphins schedule to my desk calendar at work, like I do every season, along with my prediction of the game's outcome: "W" or "L". When I got to the last game of the season, the one oozing with playoff implications @ INDY, I was surprised to see what was already waiting for me in that little date square.

Apparently, in some random stroke of coincidence I had already had scribbled the letter "W" from the previous year by mistake. Maybe this will get lost on the rest of you, but to me it was like GOD saying, "Mark it down now, Spiral, Fins beat the Colts."

Maybe you should lay off watching Pat Robertson for a while. Just a thought.

Not to mention Rosh HaShana and Sukkot. It's just an unfortunate happenstance that many of the holidays this year fall on Sundays.

Mel Kipper's brother's name is Yom. That's the guy Yom Kipper, Jr. He's also a draft guru.

Why not? Phins have traditionally matched up well against the high-octane Clots. Sort of like Devner and Oak - we've had their number.

Week 17 could end up a cakewalk. If we're fighting for our playoff lives, or for the division title, chances are the Colts have wrapped up their division by then and are aiming for homefield advantage and a bye (or already have it). With a team as good as the Colts usually are, by Week 17 there's a VERY good chance you are seeing backups. That is excellent news. Drawing the Colts on New Year's Eve (yes, another holiday) is actually like another christmas present.

 Exactly what I thought.

I'm sure JT will have no trouble running down Jim Sorgi.

Yom Kippur doesn't start until sundown......we play at 1pm.....so are we really playing on Yom Kippur??

Anyway, if you wanna count it, then Dallas is playing on 3 holidays as well (same ones)........actually, Dallas plays on the first day of Hanukkah as well, so I guess they beat us.
