If Campbell doesn't dick around with his time management, he maximizes the number of shots he gets at the end zone instead of getting one low percentage throw at it. Three time outs in his pocket and he was letting clock run.

Fact is that you are going to throw it deep on third and one, you sure as hell better be committed to going for it on fourth down instead of relying on a 51 yard field goal to tie it.
 
Yeah Dan Campbell botched that game multiple times. Run 3 and 1 at least forces the Bills burn a timeout. Then potential a 1st and 10 with three timeouts and 30 seconds.
 
Well...that was extremely stupid but when you're a team like the Lions...I guess they just think they can't give up their long line of stupidity 🤷
 
Analysts might scoff about accuracy but that’s why accuracy is so big for a qb. Accuracy completes big passes in big moments of wide open Wrs that Goff missed. That’s a td drive with better throws

Not a part of the script (just needed to make it exciting at the end)...but as far as officials go...they would be more neutral when so many eyes are on the screen compared to a sunday 1 pm game only shown in about 25 percent of country...if you believe that sort of thing...

I agee they should have ran the ball, as I said above, even if they get the 1st down and have to kick the fg later the Bills would have had little or no time to match the score. I was saying they did go for the potential score instead of getting the1st down and likely getting the fg later. And for what it was worth the wr was open, just a poor pass.

No but way they were driving was settling for fg until they got time back. That play was fine but this is why Goff is a middle of the pack qb. That wr was open, but missed him bad and other big throws. Tua hits those passes and that’s a td set up
