As I sit here and watch this I think about how great that feeling is going to be when in a few years the Dolphins are out there on the stage celebrating the AFC Championship game.

:dj2:

And I'll think of how many "Fire Tuna" chants there will be (if he's still around) if the Dolphins still haven't made the playoffs yet. I can only hope people realise what crappy shape this team is in and not assume a "five year plan" or a "five years of pain and then playoffs for sure" plan

man i havent felt that feeling all my life

The most exhilirating victory I've experianced the past 6 years was our win vs. Baltimore this year, sad.

Besides that, it was the playoff win vs. the Colts in 2000 when Lamar Smith went nuts. Being a 20 year old Dolphins fan is about as bad as it gets. I've never seen a Super Bowl and I was way to young to understand what was going on during our last AFC Championship game.

I remember the 2004 Monday Night win over the Patriots. Other than that I'm in the same boat as you.

I remember losing to the hated cowboys in 72. I was out of town in 73 and watched the Dolphins beat the redskins on a display TV in a mall. Watched the Dolphins beat the viks in 74. The 70's were great. Then after a long dry spell we would meet th redskins in 83 and lose. Crap it is had to lose a superbowl game, but worse not to be there. Then in 85 with Dan as QB we meet the niners and lose. I thought we would be back next year and get another chance at them, but it was not to be. Now we have had a long dry spell, I hope it is about to change.

I'm 43 and been a fan since 1970.....I feel sorry for some of the younger
Dolphin fans,to only know the crap they have to watch as Dolphin football
the last several years.
Heres hoping it gets better.

its gonna be a long wait before this franchise is even in that game let alone winning it to get that feeling

I love that feeling. When we beat the Jets in the AFC championship thanks to AJ Duhe. That feeling was awesome. Heres hoping we are there soon.
