That Feeling

I don't know about you guys but its definitely been an adjustment being in the mix this late in the season. It has been a legitimate 5 years since we have been in th position to make a playoff push this last in the season (crazy isn't it). All I can think about every second is the next game and thats something that to be honest I had gotten over in the last few years. Of course I am more excited than I've been in a long time, but I am a lot more nervous too knowing that we are going to have some big games coming up and a legitimate shot to make the playoffs in 7(?!) years.

this is midseason, its not really late in the season.

Right now we need to take it one game at a time. We're 4-4 and still last in the AFC East. However, in two weeks, things may be very different.

This team is too sketchy for me to greet the second half of this season with anything but cautious optimism. It's good to know we have a chance, it's good to know that a playoff appearance is certainly not some pipe dream, but at the same time we have to realize that this team has dropped the ball in several winnable games this season, while winning other huge ones. We could very well end up losing even more stupid games to the Chiefs or Raiders so i kind of have that "don't get your hopes up feeling". We'll see, that's all i'm saying.

I really hope we make it to the playoffs. Talk about a rematch with Denver or Baltimore.

I don't no....call me crazy. I am just happy that watching basketball is a much lower priority than it was the last few years at this time.
