i like it and all. but watch out for injuries on the artificial turf. believe me ive seen way to many injuries in the metrodome...which this one is kinda a smaller scale one:shakeno: good idea with the weather down in florida and everything. it looks cool. but lets keep this an injury free camp

Ill take a sprained ankle, or even a broken leg, instead of being struck by lightning:D . And the weather has been pretty nasty already.

The bubble will have "field Turf"...the most realistic artificial surface available..if im not mistaken the metrodome used the old "astroturf" when the injury bug was hitting...

Also it should actually helps us because we will be more used to artifical turf come gameday when on the road...

:yeahthat:

I like the bubble. Saban can use it as a "carrot" during camp to give the guys a break. The weeks we play in a dome or extremely loud crowd noise, we can crank it up inside. Always nice to know that Wayne will do whatever he can to make sure the facilities are state of the art.

not to mention that it will not be used all the time, simply under special circumstances.

it wont be a problem

Hey, the good news...it can withstand a Cat 3 hurricane while inflated. Maybe the NFL, instead of moving a game up a day, would let us play in it on Sunday should a mild 'Cane bear down on SoFL.

I am heading down to camp in a few weeks....it will be great for the players having the bubble...but not for the people who want to see the practice:(
