That was not indicative at all of how we played the Panthers, a formidable team in not only the NFC, but the NFL.

The offense moved the ball through the passing game with Daunte and Joey, and the defense, including the secondary, was completely DOMINATING. The D-line showed their strength again.

The only way the Panthers scored 10 points in the first half was through Wes Welker's gaff and the B.S. kickoff return. Other than that, we dominated them as a whole.

We outgained them 162 to 80-something, and had 8 to 2 First Downs in the first half.

I was very pleased with the way our first teamers went against their first teamers tonight.
 
exactly..the offense moved the ball well and the defense did its job..i looked at our 1st team against their first team and we played damn good against the panthers..Chris had nice catches and Ronnie ran the ball hard and got tough yards after the first hit

Agree, we pretty much owned in all aspects except for our Oline and special teams. I didn't see the final stats but they probably look lopsided in our favor.
 
definitely, I could care less about the outcome of pre-season games I just want us to play well and we did
 
We certainly did outplay them.

Still, if this were the real season that wouldn't be an excuse for trailing 13-3 at half.

And you know that's what Saban is thinking. He'll be pissed tomorrow. Some good, some bad, but mistakes will happen in the regular season too and we gotta cut them down.

guys its preseason score dosent matter. we really won that game b/c we got to evaluate are players more. we did great on both sides of the ball and we would of won if we didnt call a goalline run where the guard pulls! you need to move the line forward not sideways for 1 yard! especially against ppl like carolina with kris jenk...
