Thi sis so true, Saban made gigantic blunders by not drafting a QB and not bringing any quality OL. These major mistakes will cost us this year.

Yes. I wanted Orton. I'm not saying I'm a genius, but he didn't go too high I think, and I heard about him on Ask Andy last year on the Miami Dolphins official site. He may still be a flash in the pan and bust, but he sure looks better than our QB's so far.
 
We need to just put Sage in for the rest of the damn game and start making calls to Berlin immediately! @#$! it!...Just cut Touchy-Feeley and bring in some freakin young guys.:fire::fire::fire:

Massacre. 2-15 is Feeley I think. 1 INT for a 51 yard TD, and only 56 yds to his guys. OMG let's hope the vanilla playcalling was a factor, but I'm listening on teh radio and they're saying he is under throwing all kinds of easy passes. Missed Ronnie a couple times in open space on teh run. It is a shame for the skill players we have and our Defense who play so hard. I hope last week was more like we will see. I just can't take another year like last year!
 
I'm telling you guys if there were ever a sitiuation in the NFL to run the old wishbone offense it would have to be our 2005-6 Dolphins.I'm joking but sheeeesh!!!!!!!!!!:shakeno: Gus has to step up he knows the O (supposedly):(

Oh I agree. tehre's probably nothing there either, but with Gus, It's almost a sure thing he won't improve. He's had a lot more chance to prove he sucks. Oh well, we must be patient. Another draft or 2 and we're really Nick's team.
 
Very disappointed in Feeley, though Gus did nothing tonight, except be the lesser of two evils.

Couch is looking good right now. At least bring him in for a look? We'll be swapping QBs for most of the season anyway, I think. :cry:

Dudeman I give you props. You may not remember, but I argued with you a month or two ago about Feeley starting. You are right he SUCKS! Gus is it. Gus does not have great completion %, but there have been many balls not caught that should have been. I watched the Bucs game and there were several balls not caught. Even Chambers missed a bomb that he should have caught. If the line can block then we will be fine. Frerotte is a smart qb & won't make the stupid mistakes that Feeley makes. DROP Feeley tonight & sign Couch. Frerotte is a smart qb with a very strong arm. Just give him time, an o-line and with the rbs & wrs we have we will be good. We also have a very good D even though we have a few vunerabilities. Frerotte just needs to be told this is his offense to run.

oh, believe you me.....I've argued with a lot of guys on here over AJ....:lol:

but even though that I was supporting Gus because of the flak he took from the Feeley supporters, he isnt the answer either. I do feel much more comfortable with gus starting though, because he wont make these boneheaded third grade mistakes.....
 
Well like I have been saying, we will draft a QB next year, if AJ can't beat out backup Gus, what does that say!!!

I back what this guy said. Too many people talk like they have unrealistic expectations for this years team. I can't look past how bad we were last year so quickly.
