Put the wildcat to sleep. I've seen enough. All these reverses, WR throwbacks, and weird formations only do one thing and that's stopping any rythem that the offense has. Remember how well Ronnie was playing before he got hurt? Well he hasn't gotten a chance to play like that because we're more concerned about running the wildcat than feeding Ronnie. Did you see the play with Pat and Teddy in the backfield it looked more like a circus than an offense and it barely got back to the line of scrimmage. Enough is enough, let it go, put the wildcat down.

This is the first time the wildcat has backfired. I mean last year Baltimore just handled Miami and shut them down. Today is completely different.

I've seen all around the league today, the Wildcat has come up for nothing for every team. I think it's time in the league is more limited than we thought.

All we learned today about the Wildpat is that it doesn't work if the QB cant throw accurately.

Seroiusly why is anyone high on this guy? I have yet to see him do anything that indicates he's remotely close to being an NFL QB.

We didnt see anything..........because a play doesnt work......all of a sudden we are down.....typical overreactions.

We used the wildpat how many times this game? lol. Gimme a break.

Ginn was open deep White just over threw him. That should have been 6. The whole Offense looked horrid today with execution.

The timing of the use of the Wildcat today sucked... the two times we used it, it was right when it seemed the offense was just starting to get a little rhythm. It killed drives both times. Listen, I'm pissed right now, but the panic needs to stop. I never understand why people panic after one game... the offense had a HORRENDOUS afternoon, but the defense played well overall, and at least we were able to mount a somewhat decent drive at the end.

The main thing that pissed me off today was the o-line. They- and Jake Long and Vernon carey in particular- were downright atrocious. Atrocious.

i agree with JETSblow just when penny got in the a lil rythm we put in pat white. its just bad timeing

CalgaryFin. Your dead on with what you said. I just created a posting further explaining exactly what you just said. We're not over-reacting on Week 1 bc it wasn't our team. It was Pennington. Our team suffers bc of him. Like you said, we NEED those trick plays just to hide the fact we don't have a QB that poses any threat whatsoever & is a bad QB. So, we can't just say, "it's Week 1 calm down" bc with Pennington as our QB, by Week 14 with an under .500 record, well it'll be too late then to be concerned about our QB. We need change now, bc we have a playoff team with a Bubby Brister/Neil O'Donnel QB.

The point is that Ronnie Brown is our best player and he's losing carries because of the wildcat and it's not working. Dan Henning is showing no faith in the O-Line. If you want to run you have to commit to it. You can figure out trick plays and stop them. when you can run the ball up the middle it doesn't matter if you know what's coming.
