I don't believe it is Adam Gase....and the defense did not throw 2 pic 6's.

Ryan Tannehill should have gotten surgery when originally injured, and the middle of this O-line should have been properly addressed this off-season.

Without an O-line functioning at an acceptable level...nothing can go consistently right on offense.

You take care of those issues last off-season....this 4-3 team is looking a whole lot better right now.

I hope they finally fix this next year...Pouncey is finished.

Even if Tannehill had the surgery he probably wouldn't have been ready to play until now. Would you want him playing behind this oline right now? Granted the offense would look much, much better but the likelihood of getting injured again would be very high.

Giving big money extensions to skill players both offensive and defensive.

Neglecting the interior ol, when the centerpiece of the offense is Ajai whose excels on inside zone run's.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the head coach say that the o-line is playing at what he deems this acceptable level? I think the blame is on players other than the quarterback and the o line.

I am not quoting him exactly but I believe that was the flow of his Presser.

Agree 100 percent. If Miami can fix the interior of the line, with Ryan Tannehill coming back I've got to think this team is a legit super bowl contender.

Yes, I want a better tight end who can stretch the field. I also want more talent on defense as this unit has the potential to be really good.

But think what two physical guards would mean to the offense. The way it is now, the quarterback doesn't have time to hit many deep throws, receivers don't have time to run their routes, Ajayi is being hit in the backfield half the time. That is the primary issue.

They hang on to injury prone players for too long. Misi, Pouncey, now adds Parker. Many here believe you should never invest high rounds in meat and potato, ie lineman. I think we learned our lesson.

I'm with you here. It doesn't matter what you have at the skill positions if your oline can't open any holes and they can't give the qb some time. The inverse though, if you have a good oline that can open holes, even an average running back can be productive and even average receivers can get open if given enough time.

I'm starting to not believe anything coming out of gase's mouth. There's no way that oline was playing at an acceptable level during the baltimore game.

Great points. To add to the oline issues, I think there is a problem with the coaching scheme itself. The qb gets to the line and starts calling out the protections, the defense starts shifting, and the qb keeps making adjustments. All of a sudden there's 3 seconds left on the playclock, and the defenses will just make another adjustment and all of a sudden it's a jail break because everyone is confused. Just too many adjustments happening at the line, and that's on Gase.

And running into fully stacked boxes when it should be a simple audible out of it it's uncanny at NFL level

Well Gase continuously banging his head into the wall by consistently running the ball against 8-10 men in the box certainly doesn't help either.

Out of the last four supposedly offensive-minded coaches, (Cameron, Sparano, Philbin, and Gase) this stretch this year is the worst I've ever seen the Dolphins offense perform. And that's going up against Trent Green, Cleo Lemon, John Beck, Chad Henne, Matt Moore, Tannehill in his rookie year, and a laundry list of mediocre offensive linemen and wide recievers. This is pretty much rock-bottom and it's happening under Gase's watch.

That part of the line would be functioning better, however, if Tannehill were playing, and able to conduct the timing-based short passing offense needed to offset penetration through that part of the line. Think Tom Brady and New England, and how they've been able to offset poor offensive line performance with the quick passing game. Cutler and Moore are incapable of conducting that kind of offense.

Soun d's to me like Gase is saying the OK is good, but the backs are missing assignments
