I know most of the threads and discussion is about personnel and what not but have you guys ever seen a team run a worse 2 minute drill?

I mean we've been bad at it for years, our players show no urgency...they just walk around and let a ton of time just tick away. its pitiful. Other teams sprint back to the line and get set, our guys just jog and take their sweet ass time getting to the line. im always yelling at the TV "HURRY THE **** UP, LETS GO!!!! GET BACK TO THE LINE ASSHOLES"

The 2 minute drill is something this team really needs work on.

Honestly, I think the Dolphins were outstanding in the 2 minute/no huddle situation.

I think we should have used it more as the offense seemed better during it. Watch the playoff teams use it to their advantage, not just before the half and end of game. Luck used it to come right back with a score, our coaches would never think of that. Also, see Pagano coaching on the sidelines, no mouth agape their.

Yes this year they were better in that situation, which made you wonder why they didn't try the no huddle more often which was supposed to be in the plans.

Um, they were about their most effective at the end of halves running the 2 min.

im not talk in no huddle with 3 and a half minutes left I'm talking about like a minute and a half...idk maybe my deteriorating mental and emotional state at the end of games clouded my judgement

We were pretty good in the 2 minute drill......so I don't see a problem

If you are talking about a "hurry up" offense during parts of the game, we should indeed use that more. The danger of using it too much is if you get too many 3 and outs...your defense doesn't get any rest.

I hear what you are saying Nawledge. While the 2 minute drill may have been a relative strong point, we always look lackadaisical about it. We see to let too much time run off the clock between plays. No sense of urgency, especially in light of Philbin's comments about a fast paced offense and practice. We just look slow during our hurry up.

Um have you been watching Dolphins games or some other games? The only time we score is during two minute drills.

I remember hearing the announcers say that our first half, two minute offense was the best in the NFL.
