entered the season in turmoil. They posted a horrible record the previous year, and the new regime, led by a former Parcells' guy at head coach, was struggling to get started. They had an aging veteran quarterback who seemed to not be the answer for the current squad. After losing in week one, the team just looked pitiful in week two. When the current qb went out, in came a young kid from Michigan. He immediately led his team on a nice long touchdown drive, but it was too little too late and the team fell to 0-2. However, the young Michigan kid showed confidence and looked like he was ready to take over as the team's quarterback.
Now, doesn't that sound familiar?

New England had been built up for years by Bill Parcells and two years of Belicheck. This team is comprised mostly of new players. No comparison.

As badly as I want to bring up every instance in which a poor team did a 180 and became SB caliber over night, I unfortunately don't believe that to be the case here at the moment, but I'd be thrilled to eat my words.

eh, they also cheated and had the nfl make new rules for them to continue winning :p THe nfl doesnt like us enough to do such a thing, unless some plague wipes out tons of dolphins/fishing stock across the world and gives them reasoning such as 9-11 and "patriotism" :p
