:rolleyes2 Who looks foolish when all you Sox fans talk about your one ring in the last 85 years like its golden. I never said anything about it being recent. 4 rings in 5 years in the late 90s was a dynasty, something Sox fans would know nothing about. My comment about all time rings wasn't a "fallback" it was a response to the "You act like they've won something since 2000" comment. Okay so your 1 ring in '04 means more than Our 4 in '96, '98-'00??????

Yes the writer is from Boston. It's Bill Simmons, I'm not sure if you have ever heard of the guy or even read the article because if you did you'd know he wasn't saying Boston is a peennial powerhouse. He actually says that they suck this year.

My point of posting part of the article is because he was dead on about how everyone is coming out of the woodwork killing the Red Sox. A perfect example is this thread and all the hate in the past week.

I show no hate :lol: Boston is my second favorite team

I agree its stupid to compare two championships with a team that is in it every year. I do think its kind of sad that Sox fans seem to be giving up already.....you realize just a 3 game winning streak at any point and you could be just 1.5 out again of the wildcard, its not out of reach yet
