let the kids pitch, at least they'd try and you know.... not suck.
At this point, could it hurt? The expirence alone is worth it.

I agree that's why Francoma should give the ball to the kids more instead of the other bums in the pen.

Man, the NL East (and the NL on a whole) sucks...

I agree. Even though the Mets are playing great baseball I'm not sold on them being a championship team (or any NL team for that matter). The WS Champ will probably come out of the AL again.

Big Papi with another walk-off. I can't believe how good this guy actually is, what he's done since arriving here in 2003 is pretty remarkable.

That's 8 in a row..

The guy doesn't understand pressure. Awesome win, goood outing for Schill.

I'm not sure anyone read the SI article of Ortiz (the one when he was on the cover). He said he never feels pressure when he's at the plate because that's not pressure and goes on to tell the story about hearing his mom passed away.

Anyway another good win for the Sox. Papelbon has been amazing. Although it's only June there should be some talk about him possibly having the chance to win the Rookie of the Year award, Cy Young and MVP award. I mean no matter how you put it, giving up 1 run in over 35 innings pitched is truly amazing. I guess the comparisons to Roger Clemens weren't that off.

The guy is a hammer. Not only that but the 1 BS he has isn't his fault.

If Clemens is the Rocket, Randy is the big unit, what is Paps?

:fire:

Words can't express how I feel about today's cancelled game and the fact that I won't be able to go to the game tomorrow.
