ya pedro better not get booed!

I don't think he will. I'm sure there's going to be some people booing him but I wouldn't be one of them and never will be. He did so much for the team and even though he left on bad terms for whatever the reasons where you still can't take away the memories of his magic whenever he pitched.

After these Series it will be Marlins vs Sox

Im really excited for the matchup, we hung right with the Yankees every game (Lost game 1 6-5 Lost game 2 2-1 and won game 3 5-9)

Im hoping to see if we can hang with another top team

You guys have been playing suprisingly good.. GL the rest of the way.. (except this weekend)

Ortiz is freakin amazing, I was watching the highlights and as soon as they showed Philly taking the lead I said Ortiz is goingnto win it and there it was he did it again. It's unreal how much this guy comes through- he is truly the anti-ARod.

anyone explain why the Phils would be pitching to Ortiz in that spot?

No idea, my only thinking is that Manny is on deck and if you walk Ortiz you load up the bases then a walk or wild pitch/passed ball wins the game. Also Ortiz hits the ball hard and with Youk on 2nd a base hit right at an outfielder might not have scored Youk. That's my thinking anyway. Personally I would have walked Ortiz and took a chance with Manny.

It's a lot of fun watching this guy. I mean anytime he comes up to the plate with a chance to win the game you just have this feeling he's going to do it.

As great as manny i9s and as much as you don't want to face him w/ the game on the line you'd think teams would start saying we have no shot against ortiz so let's try our luck w/ Manny.

Hey I agree with you, if I was managing against the Sox I'd rather have Manny try to beat me than knowing Ortiz will time and time again.

I'm very much looking forward to this series with the (overhyped?) Mets. Our rotation sets up very nicely with Lester tonight. Hopefully Jon continues to build on what have been two very good starts in a row and spins a beauty.

Fenway is going to be rocking for this series...

I know I'm pumped for it. Apparently Pedro during batting practice has been getting a lot of nice ovations. Hopefully the fans will continue to be respectful for possibly the greatest pitching they have ever seen at Fenway.

Nice reaction for Pedro in between innings. Good to see the Sox fans show him a lot of class. Man I miss #45 at Fenway.
